Padre Dam Municipal Water District

I wonder now that Kevin has had to deal with these crooks for a few years if he woud still give them five stars?
Padre is as big a rip off as the propane companies we have to deal with in East County. $ 200 + per month for enough water to make my trees look like they are going to die.
I hate them.

People take government-​provided services, such as the city water department, for granted.
I took possession of my first home — after having lived in apartments and a condo for many years — about 5 years ago in Santee. Having never owned a home before, I never thought to call the water department to arranged to have the water turned on before moving in. My wife and I walked into our first home and quickly realized that no water was coming out of the taps. I then realized… I remembered to call SDGE, Cox Cable, Pac Bell, etc., but never thought about the water. I called Padre Dam MWD and, even though it was late in the afternoon, they sent someone out to turn on the water within ten minutes!
This is THE best customer service I’ve ever received from a utility.
