History

Established in 1983.

Steve Bollerman founded SJB Construction Incorporated in 1983 after gaining experience working for various subcontractors as a journeyman carpenter. The vision of SJB Construction Inc. revolved around quality craftsmanship with a transparent, fair price. SJB Construction Inc. has been around 29 years and thrived throughout changing economical conditions as a result of solid reputation and ethical practices. Steve has since evolved to allow his two sons be incorporated in the business. His son Stephen is a expert carpenter serving as foreman, and Cody is a graduate from CSUSM who assists in customer relations and estimation processes.

Business Owner

Steve Bollerman is originally from Maywood, New Jersey but has been living in San Diego for over 35 years. Steve’s passion for building was initiated as a teenager working with his grandfather and coming from 3 generations of builders. Steve completed Associated Building Contractors apprenticeship program in the late 70’s and went on to become a licensed CA contractor in 1983. Steve’s interests include; fishing, 4 wheel quad riding, real-​estate and travel.
