I recently had I my 1960 Austin Healey refurbished by SoCal Paintworks.
I say refurbished because what started out as a simple paint job turned into more of a rolling chassis restoration. Once Bob and his team pulled off the panels it was obvious the work required would deviate from the plan.
Throughout the process, Bob and his team called me with updates and pricing so I was never surprised with additional work or hidden charges. They are not cheap, but I won’t have to take it anywhere else to be corrected. The car is beautiful and well worth the time and money involved.
Can’t recommend SoCal Paint Works enough. World class shop run by world class people.

I had my Tesla Roadster hardtop painted here and they were great! The car is pearlized white, which is very hard to match. The first time around, it wasn’t a good match. The owner was very unhappy with the way it looked and immediately offered to redo it without me even asking. They redid it and now it looks great. They even went the extra mile and took the rivets out of the top that the last people had left inside. I highly recommend them but be prepared to pay a little more for the expertise they have. In this case, I think you get what you pay for.

I haven’t had a car painted there, but i have seen a friend’s truck, it was show quality, and as a matter of fact did win a truck show division. Bob does frame off down to the metal restorations that would please the most demanding owner, but be prepared to break out the wallet. Work like that doesn’t come cheap, but he will take it from you a little at a time. Visit the website.
