History

Established in 2013.

Opened in 2013 we are family owned and operated. Our mission and goal is to serve the recovery community of the San Diego East County and surrounding areas. The store caters to all recovering or not and we are pet friendly. You will find that it is peaceful and serene and your mood will be uplifted simply walking in the door.

Meet the Business Owner

Kellie L.

Business Owner

You will find Kellie working in the shop almost 7 days a week. She is always welcoming, compassionate and attentive. Kellie is energetic and full of ideas always thinking of a way to improve the shop and their service to the community. Kellie is an RN and resigned from her full-​time Director of Clinical Operations position in August of 2014 to devote full time to Step by Step. She worked as a hospice RN and administrator from 2002 to 2014. In March of 2015 she joined the Santee Solutions Coalition sitting in their small business position. Kellie is also teaching for Martse Training Services as their Director of Education services for their Alcohol and Drug Counselor program. Kellie invites any and all feedback and ideas so please do not hesitate to share your thoughts.
