Blue Mesa Fishing began with one crazy fisherman, a big boat, and a quiet lake with a lot of fish in it. Owner and Captain, Casey Gdowski, has always been passionate about fishing and business. When it was time for a career change in 2008, Blue Mesa Fishing Guide Company was born. Blue Mesa Reservoir is Colorado’s largest lake and the saying goes, the bigger the water, the bigger the fish. Motivated by personal interests as well as by a great friend, Casey broke into the niche market and became the first guide on the lake to make a website. He offered daily fishing reports and tips to help fishermen catch more fish. The site was a hit and all new clients were showing up to the lake to go fishing! Since then, more websites have been launched and business continues to grow.
