History

Established in 2007.

2007 — Ava K’s is founded to «make every girl feel like a princess for a day.»

2008 — Welcomed the 19HH «Gentle Giant» draft horse to the business.

2009 — Expanded from private rides and weddings to parades and special occasions.

2012 — Purchased a restored original Christmas Sleigh to further serve the community.

Kathy’s first horse-​drawn carriage ride was on her own wedding day over 31 years ago — her husband paraded them through their hometown in an antigue doctors buggy after the ceremony and unknowingly sparked her dream to make every feel like a princess for a day. The purchase of their black «gentle giant» — a 19HH draft horse — completed the image. To this day they strive to bring joy, elegance, and priceless memories to all of the most important days of your life.
