Bayside Pet Resort & Spa

No contest — this is the BEST resort to trust my precious diva dog. I love the attention, the clean inviting environment and the staff. The staff seems to really like working here for the team is the same and recognize our dog. Always fully staffed, and easy to get a suite with clear glass for our dog. Play time is reasonably priced allowing us to spoil our diva while we are on vacation. The best part — our dog loves coming here, moving into the door without hesitation. Private area with turf for outside play, means our dog comes home clean. Bathing is an option you can add, if you like.

Simply the best! Took our dogs on vacation to Florida. Bayside took my 4 dogs and treated them as royalty. They remembered their names and whose collar was whose. My boys loved going to «school»!!!

Bayside is the best pet resort bar none. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming, the facility is spotless, and the services offered are extensive. Our two labradoodles can’t wait to get in the door to play with their friends. We NEVER worry about leaving our dogs — whether for a day of daycare or a week of boarding.

This is the only place in Bradenton/​Sarasota that I trust with my dog. She has stayed here a few times when traveling abroad and every time she comes happy and well nourished! They are professional and provide world class care for your pets! Highly recommended

Bayside Pet Resort is the only place we will leave our dog Bailey when we go out of town. The staff is extremely friendly. You can tell they really love dogs, especially our Bailey. We also have Bailey groomed when he visits and he is clean, happy and worn out from having so much fun at the resort. I also love the report cards that are given when you pick your dog up. It’s a great overview and reassurance that they care about our dog.

I have taken my dog Joy to Bayside a few times and had great experiences. The staff is wonderful. Even though my Joy has some socialization issues — she is the perfect guest when she stays there. I love getting the report on how she did. They treat her like they would their own pet and I do appreciate that. She is always well cared for. I will only bring her to them when I plan on going out of town again.

Bayside is a great option if you need boarding or daycare. The facility is immaculate. There is no pet odor, the boarding kennel is very clean and well ventilated. I especially liked that the staff asked me if I wanted to accompany my dog to his «room». This allows you to see the real environment your dog will be experiencing. Everyone seems to really enjoy working with dogs and was helpful both on the phone and in person.
Rates are reasonable. Service outstanding.

This is a clean and very well run pet boarding «resort» for dogs and cats near the SRQ airport that’s been open for about a year. There’s plenty of animal loving staff that makes you feel you’ve left your pet in the best possible hands. They do offer «suites» of many sizes all with shower door type glass fronts to eliminate the dog prison look.
Rates are competitive for basic services which include everything your pet needs; exercise time, feeding (bring your own food — or they will supply) on the schedule you prefer, and snacks. As stated on their website included services are; accommodations with maid service, soothing music, comfortable beds and clean, climate-​controlled surroundings. Along with sanitized dishes, freshly laundered bedding and safe, clean elimination yards.
They do offer a dizzying array of additional services which of course will affect your final cost. Many of the supplementary «amenities» that we passed on are TV in the suite, closed circuit TV for you to watch your pet via the internet, orthopedic beds, and various activity packages. During a facilities tour they explained all the available services but no hard sell when we made a reservation.
When we returned Bogey was damn happy to see us and was clean and healthy! It’s hard to leave mans best friend behind, but we felt good about Bayside and will gladly use them again.
