Andrew Marlowe, MD, PA opened in Sarasota in 1998 and currently operates at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center and Sarasota Memorial Hospital, as well as several surgery centers. Dr. Chad Marrs joined our practice in 2013. Dr. Marrs specializes in general otolaryngolaryngic problems, including sinus disease, problems of the nose and throat, snoring and sleep apnea, ear problems and allergies. Dr. Marrs joins us after 10 years of practice in Kansas City.

Dr. Chad Marrs practiced in Kansas City for 10 years before relocating with his family to Sarasota. Dr. Marrs is a board certified Otolaryngologist — Head and Neck Surgeon who practices at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. He treats both pediatric and adult ear, nose and throat problems, including but not limited to tubes and tonsils, infections, problems with allergies and sinus disease, snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Marrs and staff are excellent. In fact, they created a miracle with my 95-​year-​old mother’s hearing. Because of Dr. Marr’s fine work my mother can hear better than she has heard in about twenty years.

I’ve been going to Dr Marrs for about a year. He has become my favorite Dr of all time. I’m never stuck waiting in the lobby for my appointment. Through a lot of patience and testing medications he had helped me be able to breath through my nose for the first time in years. He has changed my life. Being able to breath has ended headaches and made me more active.

Dr. Marrs is great! Professional office staff and very prompt! The way they process insurance and prescriptions is flawless. And Dr. Marrs is clearly knowledgable and easy to work with.
I would highly recommend him!!!
Clearly, the reviewer named Elizabeth was expecting special treatment even though she wasn’t even a patient. Doctors are professionals and appointments are made in part to respect the other patients and the Doctor’s time. If she was unable to show up on time… that’s her fault. It’s disappointing that someone would attack a good Doctor because she is unwilling to take personal accountability.

Don’t bother making an appointment with this guy. He may not keep it, and if he does, he’ll give you less than 15 minutes, for a $ 200 fee. I was visiting Sarasota when I developed an earache, and I had to fly in a few days. Unaccustomed to local traffic, I called to say I was running a few minutes late for my 3:45 appointment. I was told that 3:45 was for paperwork, the actual appointment was for 4:00, and Marrs had a meeting at 4:15! Then the office manager told me that he would not see me — period — because he was leaving the building.
In their silly response below, they say I «admitted» I had not done paperwork. Obviously not — they told me while I was en route that he was leaving! And it was not an emergency, but an ordinary appointment made the day before.
His «meeting» was actually the closing on his house — I guess that trumped my earache. Probably just as well, since I discovered later that he was reviewed unfavorably at his previous practice.
