History

Established in 1986.

Creative Realty of Sarasota started in the Gulf Gate area of Sarasota in 1986. The business relocated to Robinhood Street just off US 41 south of Bee Ridge Road. In 1995 the business moved to the current location off Tuttle Avenue. After being independent for almost 20 years, in 2005 the firm affiliated with EXIT Realty. EXIT Realty is all across North America with many offices in Canada all across the USA and has a strong presence in Florida.

Dave S.

Business Owner

Dave is originally from New Hope, Minnesota. After High School he went to North Texas State University to major in music. After getting sick he had to come home and spent several months considering options before deciding on serving in the Marines. Trained as a teletype technician he served in 29 Palms, California, Beaufort, South Carolina, and his last year at Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan. After the Marines, aftere that summer in Minnesota, he decided to leave for Ft. Myers, Florida with a close friend to work in the Wallcovering/​Painting business. He met his wife Marsha in Fort Myers, and they eventually were married in1988 after Dave was going to Edison Community College. Marsha went to the same high school in Minnesota and the families had common friends. In fact, her Father remembers helping to carry a concert Harp to a wedding at their church (that was Dave’s Mom, Louise).
