History

Established in 2012.

Fine Home Consignments began as BOT Sarasota Fine Consignments in October 2012. We changed our name when we moved to our current location on Rt 301 north of downtown Sarasota in 2014.

Voted a «Best Place to Buy Antiques» in the Herald-​Tribune Readers’ Poll 2014.

Business Owner

Spencer has over 30 years of experience dealing in furniture, home décor and antiques. It started as a hobby when he traveled around upstate New York as an automotive sales rep, and became his full time profession when he opened his own store in Buffalo, NY.

When Spencer came to Sarasota in 2010, following the relocation of his better half, he was amazed at the abundance of high quality furniture, art and home accessories available second hand. So he opened his own consignment store dedicated to showcasing the very best. He brings a curator’s eye to the selection of merchandise for Fine Home Consignments. From rugs to figurines, chairs to art glass, mirrors to dishes, tables to jewelry, only items of enduring beauty, taste and quality make it to Fine Home Consignments.
