History
Established in 2005.
Lightning Hobbies, LLC was created in 2005 and took over The Hobby Shop in Port Charlotte, FL after Hurricane Charlie came through. In October 2012 we opened up Gator Hobbies in Sarasota. The Father and Son team of Brian and Mike Hague bring over 60 years of Radio Control experience covering all aspects of the hobbies. In 2013 Mike has started competing in National and International Scale contests.
Gator Hobbies stocks all kinds of Radio Control products including, Drones, Airplanes, Helicopters, Cars, and boats, but we don’t stop there. We also carry Metal Detectors, Kites, Rockets, and Plastic and wood models.
