As a newbie Sarasotan who had enjoyed 15 years of impeccable dental care delivered by an A-​1 professional in NY I was concerned about replicating the experience in my new residence. Let’s cut to the chase: Dr. Craig Georgiadis and his staff, whom I’ve been seeing for a year now, have impressed me with his/​their professionalism and personal touch. There is none of the «upselling» that prevails in many other dental practices here (e, g: «You could use some whitening»), just focused dental care at reasonable rates. Based on experience to date, Dr. Georgiadis and staff deserve full marks.

Just discovered this site, and had to jump at the opportunity to «review» our family DENTIST. My family began seeing DR. RICHARD GEORGIADES in 1970 — 44 years ago. Dr. Georgiades was personable, soft spoken, and a VERY good dentist. I had always dreaded getting the novocane injections, but it was NO PROBLEM with Dr. Richard. There was only the slightest sting when he inserted the needle. Eventually, DR. CRAIG GEORGIADES joined his father in his practice. The son’s injection of the novocane was TOTALLY painless!
Most importantly, the Georgiadeses do not recommend unnecessary dental work. On two occasions I have seen dentists at other clinics because of insurance coverage. One stated that I needed about $ 7,000.00 worth of dental work, of which my co-​pay would have been about $ 3,500.00. I deferred, and returned to Dr. Georgiades and he found that all that I NEEDED was the replacement of ONE cavity (between 2 teeth) — my cost = $ 154.00.
Last year my insurance offered FREE cleanings twice a year. I decided to go to the new dentist for one of the «free» cleanings, and see Dr. Georgiades for the other and my annual check up. The «free» cleaning cost me $ 84.00, and the dentist evaluated my teeth and recommended over $ 7,000.00 worth of dental work. I rushed back to Dr Georgiades, who found — again — only one SMALL filling that needed to be replaced. My cost = $ 184.00.
Our experience with the Georgiadeses has been one of the longest professional association that we have had in Sarasota, and certainly the most satisfying. He has taken very good care of our teeth without recommended any unnecessary work. I cannot recommend DR. CRAIG GEORGIADES high enough. Dr. Richard comes into the office, but is mostly retired today.
