Dr. Knapp’s Professional Statement

The goal of my chiropractic practice has been to provide cost effective evidence based care to my patients by advancing my postgraduate education and staying current with medical literature within my field. In addition I have endeavored to add to this knowledge base by lecturing, publishing papers, writing clinical trials, and grant proposals pertaining to the treatment of pain disordersr. Dr. Knapp has been practicing in Sarasota, FL since 1985 since graduating magna cum laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. Prior to this he was an undergraduate pre-​medicine major at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a level 1 rehabilitation chiropractor by the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board. He is a guest faculty and Laser Therapy Research Consultant to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Complementary and Integrative Medicine Department, Miami VA System Department of Rehabilitation, and Nova Southeastern University College of Health Care Sciences. He is also a research consultant to LiteCure LLC. He has published 4 papers on Class 4 laser therapy and continues work on additional studies. Dr. Knapp was awarded the 2010 Sarasota Natural Choice Award Favorite Chiropractic Physician, 2011 Best Chiropractic Care, and 2012 Sarasota Best Chiropractic Care and Man of the Year.
