Les Ciseaux Salon & Spa

I went there for a Brazilian blowout, not knowing the particular stylist that would be working on my hair. How lucky I was to get Stacy!!! I have been getting Brazilian blowouts for quite a few years in Pittsburgh, but never have I had one with such great results as the one I got from Stacy! Thank you so much! My hair is so thick and resistant to everything, but Stacy made it listen! You are my hair hero! I highly recommend Stacy and the salon was very inviting as well!

Walked in while on vacation. Staff very nice and attentive. Got some free champagne with my pedicure. The facilities are very nice and clean. My pedicure in all was extremely relaxing, included scrub and foot and calf massage with hot stones and all. Only objection was the actual outcome of the pedicure. I.e. some polish on my skin, some rough spots in the polish, etc.

Absolutely terrible. Horrible customer service, management was indignant and absolutely no attempt was made to try and rectify the situation. Serving such distinguished and affluent clientele, i was disgusted and disappointment with the treatment i received. Overpriced. Overrated. With way too many other salons in the area to choose from! No stars.

I must admit I arrived to the salon at 2:50 for my 3:00 appointment and found no one there. All lights were off and no signage was up stating they were returning soon. I called and got the machine. Starting to freak out!
I took a deep breath and vegan to search for another salon that could do an up do for a wedding I was attending at 5pm. I decided to give Les Ciseaux one more call to see if someone managed to show up. Thank GOD someone answered the phone and she was opening for my appointment.
After I had my mini panic attack, I decided to try to relax and go into the salon with a level head. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely woman from the UK. She apologized for being late and explained that this weekend wasn’t very busy so they were working on as-​needed appointments. I understood, but was a bi more nervous I was their only customer…
The «do» goes on. After all that panicking and rushing around I left that salon with an up do that I absolutely LOVED!!! The stylist was very creative, friendly, and sweet! I ended up purchasing some Jane Iredale makeup to boot! I must say after I got in the chair I totally enjoyed my experience with Les Ciseaux Salon.

Although I haven’t been there since it’s changed ownership I can without a doubt tell you it can only get better! The staff is the most talented around, especially, well, everyone!
Star stylists Francisco and Dawn are copiously supported by ridiculously talented senior and junior stylists. Sachiko, Loan, and Shirley and equally fabulous and can offer such different styles and talents for all kinds of hair needs! Owner, Angela is also a fabulous stylist with an eye for making drab into fab! People, hair, houses, salons, you name it!
Located in St. Armands Circle, the location can’t be beat! Steps away from the best food and shops in Sarasota, Les Ciseaux offers comfort, expertise and all that is wonderful about salons!
