The owner is so rushed and unfriendly when she waxes, I tried explaining what I wanted and she really didn’t seem to care enough to listen– I left unhappy: I’ve been here 2 x now same experience and won’t be back

I had a Brazilian wax at Lush yesterday and it was the worst waxing experience I’ve ever had. The woman who did my wax was really unfriendly, cold, and insincere. She single-​handedly made this already uncomfortable process really awful. Also, the wax job itself was really poorly done. She did not apply any talcum powder or ointment, did not give any warning of when she was ripping the wax off, and did not help to hold the skin down to ease the pain. Also, she did such a quick job that I don’t think she let the wax cool enough, causing a very patchy end-​result and lots of breakage. I had asked for a Brazilian wax and she did not cover the entire area in the back. It looks really bad and I’m really disappointed with my experience. I’m sure Lush is a great salon for nails and other things, but I would NOT recommend anyone go here for a waxing job. Lush should really hire someone else to do their waxing.

I had a Brazilian wax at this location because of groupon special and unfortunately I will not return. The experience was dissatisfactory and I had wax on parts of me that were not being waxed! I especially did not like flipping over and holding my buttox to wax the rear area. I would much prefer the traditional style of having the legs up. When I went home I noticed that there were places that were completely unwaxed! It was just an overall sloppy, rushed, and uninviting experience that I would not recommend to anyone. There are much better locations in the area that provide a greater service and I’m happy to say I’ve found a better professional. Keep your money and don’t waste your time or energy on Brazilian waxes here!
