The Bullet Hole

They do size you up when you go in there. They do not value your business cause if they did then they would treat everybody the same. I have heard of this happening to people but I took it with a grain of salt and thought I would still check them out anyway. I was ignored the whole entire time I was in there despite standing right at the counter. They sized me up wrong because I took my conceal carry self right down to Fully Loaded Guns and Ammo on Tamiami Trail where they treat everyone with respect and spent my $ 1300.00 there instead. Shame on you for running your business with such arrogance.

I’ve purchased many weapons from The Bullet Hole. It’s always been a win/​win experience and purchase.
First off, the owners, Fran, Brooke, and Barbara know their business. There is no question about that. It’s a family business.
If you are are a first time gun buyer, or an inexperienced buyer, they will guide you into the best gun for your needs. They are honest, friendly and just plain nice people.
That being said, what about their prices? Well, certainly I could have purchased online and saved the tax money. But then, you have to pay for the gun to be processed once it arrives at your gun dealer at home. That can be up to $ 50. Here is an example: I purchased a pistol from them for $ 450. With tax, it came to $ 481.50. Had I purchased it from Bud’s Gun Shop (one of the biggest and least expensive online dealers) it would have been $ 440, but with the fee charged when you pick it up at your dealer’s store, it would come to $ 470 to $ 490.
If you need them to work with you, they will. As I mentioned, I’ve purchased many guns from them. I’ve paid perhaps $ 10 to $ 20 more than if I had purchased online. To me, it is a no-​brainer to spend the extra and nominal difference with a local dealer and keep the money in my own community. Additionally, if you have a problem, they will jump all over it to make it right. Again, these are very honest and ethical people.
If you are in the market for a gun or ammunition, go to The Bullet Hole. You can spend hours there. Bring a sandwich!

With the limited options in Sarasota for gun stores they are as good as it gets not setting the world on fire but not particularly hard to deal with I’ve made a few purchases there did not feel like my business was all that important to them but that is pretty typical of most privately owned gun stores. They size up who they think they’re dealing with and treat you accordingly for whatever that’s worth Cheers

Super knowledgable and helpful! My husband bought a gun here and they shipped it where we needed it to go. Great selection on hand when most places in Sarasota did not have guns on the store to see and check out. I know they are moving but we will look them up again when we are back in town. Thanks guys!
