This is the best car wash in town. Yes it is a little $$ but well worth it! They take there time drying my whole truck. Plus Crystal behind the counter is always nice to talk to!

Way over priced for the services. Slow, slow, slow staff. I’m all for people taking there time, but the awkward waiting area makes that painful. The ultimate test of whether a car place really knows what they’re doing is whether they actually clean a car’s wheels: sorry to report, this place doesn’t. Skip it.

It took 45 minutes for a basic wash during a non-​prime time. No one seemed to be in any hurry or to care about service. Will never come back.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. My girlfriend took her car for a quick oil change and general check up so she could safely make the 3 hour drive home for Easter. When she brought the car home I took a quick look around and two of her tires were very low on air. I looked at her receipt and apparently they «checked» and «filled» the tires with air. It’s blatantly obvious that they didn’t even look at the tires. Now I’m skeptical if they even changed the oil, and I can confidently say they didn’t look at the rest of their «checklist» either. This shop is dishonest and lazy. Period. Please don’t trust them with your vehicle.

I understand I got there 35 minutes they close for the day. I also understand I asked for a wash on the outside of my car only and just a quick wipe down in the front of the car… But no excuse for leaving spots on my rear view Windows, no excuse to leave my windshield with the tinier versions of the spots I actually drove in with. Sorry will not return, will not recommend. 4 guys working on one tiny car should have had a better result.

The only reason that this company is getting a second star is because the car came out remotely clean. I paid for the second to the best car wash for $ 25 and I thought it was a little steep for the service that was included (vacuum, wash, interior wiped down, spray wax, wheel cleaner, tire shine, and fragrance). It literally took 45 minutes to get the car through the automatic machines, vacuumed, and wiped down. There was towel residue all over the exterior windows and they only did half the dashboard. You could still see dust on the dashboard and all the smudge marks from before it went through the treatment. Since I paid for a scent, I asked what scent they sprayed and the guy candidly replied, «nothing.» I told him I paid for it, so it soaked the car with leather scent and sent me on my way. I choked on the fragrance for about 5 minutes before finally opening a window because my eyes were bleeding. Overpriced, takes a long time, and the job and service were crappy.

Last time coming here. Always very slow! Took an hour and a half for an oil change and car wash and not busy at all!

If you want your car free of scratches, lint and perhaps underneath damage, stay away from this antiquated carwash. First, It is not a brushless carwash and uses old machinery. People who go there over a period of time will see their cars being marked up and not very clean. I think people go there because it is convenient for them. Secondly it is way overpriced. You are paying for the use of old equipment (outdated) and a terrible cash wash. I’ve seen folks with high end cars go through there. Obviously, just you have a lot of money, does not suggest that you may be smart. Do your research!

As an update, my wife used the free wash I was given. It was mediocre at best and took over an hour… which if they were busy is ok… but they they only had one car ahead of her. Vacuuming was barely done, Windows were half a**…it just seems to be the culture of this wash… two visits, two poor experiences. I’ll be getting our vehicles washed elsewhere.

Typically they provide great service but recently they are «understaffed» according to management and a basic car wash takes over an hour! Don’t use them if your time is valuable to you!

I’ve been to this shop several times in last 2 years. Each time Ive had to request the crew to clean areas of the car that the automatic brushes miss on my SUV. They still didn’t get at the areas I pointed out. The last time I asked the crew to clean simple light mud (not heavily packed) from wheel wells that was not reached by the sprayer. It required someone with a spray wand-​scrubber (they have them there) to clean it by hand. It still was not done. I complained to the manager in his office but he could care less. He did nothing about my complaint and let me walk. Will never be back there. Strongly advise going elsewhere especially if you have an SUV or if you care about proper service.

First time going to this carwash and probably won’t go again. I wanted to see how they would do on a regular wash in & out before paying for a full detail that I need.
The vacuuming was apparently limited to the floor as the seats were not touched and it appears they just lifted up the floor mats and vacuumed since I had to do it again. The windows were cleaned, but none of the interior surfaces so had to do that myself as well. Also had to clean all the door jams.
So if you’re expecting a complete job, I guess you will have to pay for a higher package but you’ll have to ask since there is no signage indicating what is available.

Went for the first time this morning for an oil change and a car wash. When I pulled up, they were currently working on one car in front of me. After 50 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be and was told that they had just finished the oil change and were ready to start vacuuming my car. 15 minutes later after I still had not seen my car go through the wash, I told the girl that I was ready to leave. She checked on my car again and told me that it was ready to go through the wash and she would let the guys know to clean my car before any others. (She was very nice and apologetic.). As I was waiting, a man came in from the oil change side and told the girl at the front loudly enough for me to hear and with plenty of attitude, «sometimes there is a wait!» Shortly after, another man came in to tell me that my car was done and he apologized for the wait. He also gave me a coupon for a free wash at my next visit. I suppose the reason for my crappy car wash was that they were trying to hurry up and get me out of there. It looked like the inside hadn’t been vacuumed at all and maybe someone had taken a quick dry cloth to wipe it as fast as possible. Total wait time 1 hour and 20 minutes. I gave an extra star because the girl at the front along with the car wash man were very nice.

University Auto Spa does an excellent job. They take their time inside and out. All parts of the car come out very clean. It’s a terrific car wash.

Great carwash! Here’s the challenge. the address is good but the map link is bad. Sends you on a goose chase. But once to ignore Unilocal maps and you get here they treat you right. Its worth the trip. BTW the car was is on university parkway just west of I 75.

Best $ 15 car wash I ever had. They clean the exterior and vacuum interior and wipe down windows inside out and the dash as well. I also got my oil changed and a massage in the chair while I was there. The place is clean and comfortable, but that chair is not like a salon chair while you get a pedicure. They vibrate the heck out of your spine and belly. Enjoy.
I usually tip $ 5 b/​c the guys are working hard and share the tips. Although, I think the tips should go to the hardest workers. I saw this one guy lazily wash my windows while another guy (white dude with beard) hustled and did both his side and the back then ask the other guy if he wiped the back side window of my car. The guy replied, «yeah,» but I was watching the whole time and he did not get to it, so he basically lied. The bearded guy should get a raise and more tips. I hope the manager sees this. I plan to return and see again if the work is distributed fairly.

Why is it that everytime i leave this place i have to wipe down a ton of spots that they miss. Johhny’s puts this place to shame. too bad i dont live closer to them.

We live nearby and stop in almost monthly. Last time our car emerged without the cover to the Onstar receiver on the roof. I phoned immediately and was told by Steve that it would be «taken care of». And it was — graciously with no questions, no excuses, no problem. That’s what I call service. Thank you Steve, David and especially Derek.

Staff is always friendly and responsive, they go over and above to assist. Wish they were open later during the week due to my working hours but I can sometimes go during lunch because the service is quick and reliable. Comfortable atmosphere to wait and the best part, you dont have to deal with all the up-​selling you get at places like Tire Kingdom, Jiffy Lube, etc… The service is so good that even though the price of an oil change is a little higher, its worth every penny!!! If you live in the LWR or North Sarasota area, its a must!

Consistently good service. Best to go on a weekday if at all possible. Saturday’s guarantee a long wait.
