Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School is a co-​ed Pre-​K through Grade Eight independent school. Saint Andrew’s is distinguished by its foundation of academic excellence, inclusiveness and commitment to service. The school prides itself on offering a comprehensive program of advanced academics plus enrichment in the areas of the studio and performing arts, physical education and technology. We feature a one: one iPad program in grades K-​3 and one: one laptop program for grades 4 – 8.

Saint Andrew’s teaches moral lessons such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship through chapel, religious studies classes, guest speakers and media representing a multitude of world faith systems. Good character and community service is emphasized at all grade levels.

History

Established in 1961.

by Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, the school opened with single sections of Kindergarten and First Grade, then subsequent grades were added each year to Grade 8. Today the school serves 385 students from over 15 communities in the South Bay and Peninsula Area. Graduating students are accepted to the most prestigious high schools in the area and around the country.

Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Saint Andrew’s is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and National Association of Episcopal Schools.
