Log Cabin Winery specializes in Old Florida Fine Muscadine Wines. Our ten acre vineyard adorns the property, in which we mechanically harvest and produce wines from Muscadine wine-grapes produced by our family owned and operated site. Log Cabin Winery holds several events throughout the year to include our Old Florida Harvest Festival, held the last Saturday in August. Enjoy grape stomping, games for the kids or be crowned our next Grape Goddess!
History
Established in 1999.
My grandparents relocated to this area in the 1940s and had citrus and poultry on the property. Log Cabin Farm was named, as they lived in a log cabin. The orginal log cabin burned in the 1950s, but a replica of their home was built in the mid 1990s to add additional country charm. Today, it serves as our wine manufacturing facility.
In 1999. the first acre of Muscadine grapes was planted. Today the vineyard consists of ten acres grown primarily for wine grape production. Log Cabin Winery opened its doors in 2008 offering only wines produced by the grapes grown on property.
We are the only mechanical harvester owner in Northeast Florida, providing a relief during harvest to time and labor. Our harvest window is August/September.
