As a Hilton preferred member I generally eschew roadside motor lodges. However a late (less expensive) arrival to my dads house on the north shore necessitated a stop. I knew there were Hampton Inns in the area as well as a Doubletree.
But this looked like a throwback, so I thought I would give it a try.
Lodging was clean, and not exactly cheap. But the room was clean.
I suggest that you try and get a room away from the road, it was fairly noisy.
Wifi was weak, but free. Definitely couldn’t stream Netflix.
