Giovanni’s Pizza & Roast Beef

I work around the area and I’ve been to a majority of the sub shops around. Giovannis is definitely the best around. Their steak and cheeses cannot be beat. Even the easy subs like the cold cuts are always topped to the hilt with veggies and they never skimp on anything. I can always tell the difference between a Giovannis sub and a sub at the other places in the area.
Also, their Greek fiesta pizza is incredible. I get it on Sunday’s, my cheat day from the gym and it’s so good I usually eat three quarters of it.
Giovannis rules and I now go out of my way to eat their when I’m in the saugus area.

If I could put no stars I would… planned out my order using online menu when I got there call one prices were double-​check said take it or leave it because it’s not their fault their webmaster didn’t update their prices… first off that is their problem and they should honor the price-​fixing even pulled it up to show them… really wanted to leave it because who pays 28.95 for buffalo chicken CALZONE-​OUTRAGEOUS on any case they just lost a regular customer especially over the tide and the frenzy I just launched on fb might have them think twice about ripping people off and treating them like dirt… funny part is their online menu is riddled with specials including a small calzone for $ 7.99 so how is a large almost 4x more! Rip off

I usually love this place, but the greek salad comes wolith barely any feta. If you want extra its $ 1. Go to Mikes in Saugus they give more normal portion of feta.

I eat lunch there at least once a week, although I’m not a fan of Greek pizza, this is the best Greek pizza Iv’e had! Good job!

They don’t care about customers. You’d be better off spending your money anywhere else.

I move to NC several years ago. I miss North Shore Roast Beef sandwiches. I was in Saugus last week on some family business and I did a google search for Roast Beef. This place happened to be right near wear I was. The beef was rare, hot, tender, thinly sliced… excellent. Now if they could just open shop in Cary NC… the first person to open a roast beef shop there will be a millionaire serving the transplants.

Giving 5 stars on their chicken/​steak tip kabob salads. pita bread always fresh. dressing is amazing. And they dont skimp out on the feta like other places in the area. Salad will be a couple dollars cheaper too. Overall great quality, portions and value.

Despite the fact that the food here isn’t all that bad, the customer service is abysmal. I placed and order for delivery, which a driver delivered 40 minutes later. The delivery person did not have a part of my order. He didn’t apologize, and instead instructed me to call Giovanni’s and ask someone else to bring it. He explained that he had already stayed 2 hours later and would not be coming back. He gave me my money back for the item. After I called, one of the other Giovanni’s employees dropped off the missing part of the order on her way home. About an hour later, I got a three phone calls in a row from a strange number. I finally answered, and realized that it was Giovanni’s asking for the $ 12 for the forgotten item. They said they were sending a delivery driver back for the $ 12. When questioned about the ridiculousness of this request, the person on the phone proceeded to be rude, and said she needed the money. I will never order from them again. I have never been treated so poorly by a business.

Food was ready in 15 mins. The chicken fingers and french fries are frozen ones that are just fried. The buffalo chicken calzone was good that’s the only reason why this place gets 3 stars.

Great food, huge fan of their steak tips! Place was clean, and the staff was friendly.

I have ordered from Giovanni’s numerous times and I am a fan. Between their salads, sandwiches, and pizza I have yet to have something I wasn’t happy with. Giovanni’s is our go to place in Saugus.

My boyfriend and I just ordered the spinach alfredo pizza from Giovanni’s and OH MY GOODNESS it was absolutely delicious. We ordered is online, and it came in a very timely matter and was still wonderfully warm when it came to the door. The alfredo sauce was perfection along with the bacon, spinach and mushrooms. Everything about this pizza was amazing, and I havnt had anything as good as this in a long time. The crust was perfectly crunchy, just absolutely DELICIOUS! Thank you Giovanni’s!

Waited over an hour for delivery, half of it was missing. Complained and were told never to call them again. Not a problem!
