Monument Square Service Center

I had been going there for years under old ownership. Found them very honest and reasonably priced. My son and I have since both gone to new owner and found him to be overpriced and not very competent. Every time you bring your car in he drums up all these extras and nothing is under $ 1,000.00. I am convinced he is a scam artist. Today I called to price a service. I called 3 places including them. They were $ 55.00 more then one place and $ 50 more then other. I would never go there again.

New owners… I had my car inspected twice before at this place now they failed it because my tint .Same car same tint. Stay away.

So never had a problem at monument. Have been taking my car there for years, having Dave O’Blenis work on my car. Did great work.
Now it’s under new ownership and Dave no longer works. My car died and had it towed there because that’s where I always went. Well never again. Wanted to charge me $ 268 for a new battery which my old battery was only 2 years old, so the new one should be prorated. The owner said no it’s 3 years old and not under warrenty. He told me I needed a special battery and it was $ 210 and $ 45 for labor. Well needless to say when I told Dave he told me I was being screwed. So Dave went down there to ask the owner why he was charging me so much. Words were exchanged and price changed to $ 85 and $ 45 for labor.
And what does the owner Steve say «I could have told you it was the alternator» seriously that’s your response. Will never go there again they are scam artist

I brought both of my cars here for oil changes and inspections about a year apart. Both times, the owner gave rolled his eyes at the sight of my credit card and huffed and puffed for cash. I told him I didn’t have it since he advertises taking credit, and he was thoroughly unpleasant. Look, no one likes paying credit card fees, but I’d imagine most paying big repair bills don’t pay by cash, and I can only imagine the grief he gives these guys. The quality of the work was fine, but I don’t enjoy being harassed. I won’t be returning.

Price of gas is good. Went there for 2 fill ups and now I need a new feul injector. My Audi dealership asked what gas I WAS buying! Better off with the quality names… sorry
