Dr. Lee and his staff are a superb combination of professional, personable, thorough and quick. I first had an initial regular check-​up/​cleaning that, while long (nearly 2 hours), was incredibly thorough and I don’t feel like any of it was «dead» time. A week later he repaired a crack/​chip in my tooth and it feels like a new tooth — this time I was in, out, and on my way in less than 45 minutes.

I should start by saying that I have serious anxiety about dental visits (like I cry the entire way through a cleaning), so the fact that I was so happy and put at ease during my first visit with Dr. Lee says a lot! The whole staff was welcoming and made me feel like they really cared about my comfort and happiness. The cleaning was quick and thorough (and she didn’t ask me questions while she had stuff in my mouth… thank you!), and Dr. Lee gave me great practical ways (without being judgmental) to improve my dental health. I’m so glad that my family has found a new dental home!

The best of the best. Talk about thinking out of the box. I live 4 grinding my teeth. Needed a crown on my rear molar. Rather than the standard/​very durable material, Dr Lee mentioned that there was a stronger material available that could really stand-​up 2 my grinding.
No additional expense… just Dr. Lee thinking «out of the box» and assisting me with my nagging problem.

Dr. Lee and his entire staff are very professional and notably friendly. The office itself is comfortable and calming with a pleasant music selection. I sincerely look forward to my visits (as much as one can look forward to a dentist appointment that is) because of everyone’s genuine friendliness and the interesting conversations I have while there.
Everyone in the office remembers me at each visit on such a personal level. I’m sure they’re just as attentive to all their patients but it is still very flattering and makes me feel even more comfortable at my dentist office visits.
I also really like Dr. Lee’s approach to oral health. He makes sure to connect the condition of our teeth to the rest of the body. He teaches his patients how they can take care of their teeth outside of just changing brushing habits. His dental assistants are also very knowledgeable and have given me great advice on how I should address my worn down enamel. I’ve never been so passionate about oral hygiene until I started going to Dr. Lee’s practice.

A good dentist is hard to find… but finding an outstanding dentist is pretty close to impossible. Knowing this, I consider myself very fortunate to call Dr. Lee my dentist! Dr. Lee, and his entire staff are truly second to none.
After a brief dental hiatus, and because Dr. Lee came highly recommended, I decided to give him a try. I now find myself, having been under his care, for around 15 years… and I have yet to miss one every 6 month appointment. And now, through my own suggestions/​referrals, over the years… my wife, daughter, mother, and countless friends, and colleges call Dr. Lee their dentist as well… and they couldn’t be happier!
Do yourself a favor, and give Dr. Lee a shot… you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Lee and his entire staff are fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about them all. They seem to go effortlessly out of their way to make their patients feel comfortable. Dr. Lee is straight forward about your dental issues and shows you the problems, never making you feel like you are having work done that isn’t necessary. I even had a trouble free root canal. (that’s never been said before I promise) Beautiful office, lovely staff, and excellent service makes it difficult to hate going to the dentist.

Dr Lee is a wonderful dentist. I’m a big chicken, and he always puts me at ease. He is a True artist and craftsman in every sense of the word. I’ve seen him for over 14 years and hope he never retires.

The best dentist I have ever had. I have been seeing Dr. Lee for over 5 years and every time he and his staff are extremely professional and most importantly do outstanding dental work. Just today I went in for a repair to one tooth and he noticed a crack in another tooth. He was so concerned about my well being that he took another hour (that wasn’t scheduled) to put on a crown.

What started with just me having Dr. Lee as a dentist has morphed into my whole family, including my son, who is 16. Professional, kind, responsive — Dr. Lee and his staff make going to the dentist enjoyable.

Dr. Lee is the best. He has cared for our whole family for several years now and all of us have had pain-​free experiences with him every time. Plus, not only does he provide outstanding dental care, but Dr. Lee is a terrific person. He does a tremendous amount of volunteer work in our community and truly cares about Sausalito and the people who live here. I cannot say enough about Dr. Lee and his staff.

Dr. Lee is not only professional (knows his business and cares for his staff) he’s a wonderful dentist. I was squeezed in for an emergency procedure (not life threatening but certainly a re-​filling of a lost filling can be a potential hazard if not dealt with in time.)
I was greeted by the most terrific-​back-​room-​assistant ever, Viv. The office assistant Kelly, who handled getting me in, couldn’t be there, she had her own emergency to deal with.
After filling out a page of info, I was lead into the procedure room where a small prep (mouth-​wash) was administered and in comes Dr. Lee. A brief exam, an x-​ray, a determination of the problem and off we went. I was done and out in an hour. My tooth (or teeth as two were in peril of falling out of my mouth) looked and felt wonderful, better than before for sure.
Did I mention that I was miles and miles from home and that Dr. Lee came to my rescue?

I had a fantastic experience at Sausalito Dentistry.
The office itself is beautiful and very relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. The digital X-​rays took a little getting used to, but it was great to be able to look at each tooth on the monitor as Dr. Lee carefully reviewed them with me.
I feel very lucky to have found Sausalito Dentistry.

This dental office is amazing:) including the new receptionist just hired. They are all very good at their work and I trust them completely. They are also very warm, friendly and helpful. I’ve been coming to this office for 2 years.5 star +++ getting my teeth whitened next week and I can’t wait!
Just had another appointment yesterday for a cleaning. Wow, was she ever gentle. This office is amazing. They where so happy to see me I felt like a rock star. Oh, wait they told me I looked like a rock star because of a jacket I was wearing. Funny! Anyway, like I said they are all very friendly, gentle and incredible professional to boot:))! Go see them:))

Complete office visit was great! Kelly, Viv, & Dr. Lee all A+ in my book. Everyone was professional, warm, inviting and a pleasure to deal with.
This was my first visit to Dr. Lee, he came recommended by a colleague, and surpassed my expectations.

I had a dental emergency and called Dr. Lee. They could not have been any more willing to help and get me quicker than I could ever thing is possible. Everything about the visit was great. Everyone in the staff was very nice, helpful and made an uncomfortable dental situation pleasant. I did have to have a removal and the referral was equally impressive. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist but this was a completely different experience. I am so happy to have found this office. They are great!

This review is way overdue. I’ve been going to Dr. Lee for the past few years. He’s the best at what he does and I highly recommend him to anyone. He uses cutting edge equipment and the you can’t beat the atmosphere. The only challenging part of visiting his office is that it’s right next door to my favorite restaurant, Sushi Ran. After my cleanings I’m always tempted to stop by for a glass of wine and some rolls.

Today I had my first appointment with Dr. Lee for full x-​rays and an overdue cleaning. From the moment I walked in the door, I was welcomed with warm professionalism. Dr. Lee came out to say hello when I first arrived. The Front Office person helped me with filling out the forms on the computer and gave me a tour of the office. The Dental Asst. greeted me and made sure I was comfortable as she took the full set of digital (YAY! DIGITAL) x-​rays.
Dr. Lee did a thorough oral exam and cleaning. With the benefit of the digital films, he was able to work with the Asst. to look at each tooth photo as he was cleaning and checking.
I don’t suffer from dental chair anxiety, but if I did, I would have been comforted by the staff at Dr. Lee’s office. The physical surroundings are very soothing, the music is just right, the smiles are genuine and embracing.
Extra touches that I really appreciated:
— Text message reminder of the appt.
— Digital x-​rays
— Being shown where the restroom was before I even needed it
— Cocoa butter for my lips before we started the x-​rays
— Clear explanation through each step of the process
— Warm lemony towel for my mouth/​face at the end
NICE touches that did not go unnoticed!

What surprised me is that in two instances the cap — 6 months ago and yesterday the repair of two worn and one chipped front teeth that I immediately felt OK, No grinding, no «somethings not quite right» feeling. Dr Lee is a meticulous tooth engineer and doctor.

If I could rate someplace OVER five stars, it would be the office & staff of Dr. Lee.
I called in a state of panic (read: spaz) after a dental emergency — the receptionist, Dee, was calm, understanding and able to get me in first thing the very next morning. Dr. Lee and Viv helped me and not only did tremendous work, but were very patient, caring & understanding.
They were very straightforward about costs/​expenses (not always the case in medical offices) and did A++++ work — I detest sitting still more than any actual pain, and they were quick, effective, got great results and worked near-​painlessly. The staff & office are super-​organized and efficient. All-​around, as good as a trip to the dentist can get –Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr. Lee for the past 10 years and I have to testify that he gives the absolute best in service. His team is very efficient and courteous. They have performed the deepest of work on me multiple times through the years and I have never experienced any pain or discomfort.
In addition, they have a great modern facility and operation, high-​tech in every way, but still provide good old-​fashioned customer service.
Overall, Dr. Lee and his team get the highest of grades, even in a very tough, hard-​to-​please Marin market.
