Established in 1989.

Today, as founder and president of Peggy Knight Solutions, Peggy oversees the research and development of a full hairpiece product line specifically geared toward adults and children suffering the humiliation of hair loss from alopecia areata, burns or other medical causes. Her many years of personal testing makes her uniquely qualified to provide the comfort and natural look that her clients have come to depend on. Peggy and her dealers, many of whom have alopecia areata and wear her vacuum hairpieces, travel throughout the United States and Canada scheduling private consultations to offer personal service as well as a personal touch.

When Peggy Knight speaks about hair loss, she does from experience. As a child, Knight developed alopecia areata, an autoimmune disorder with no known cause or cure. After years of embarrassment, denial, and fruitless searches for a solution — even suffering an infection from a wig sutured to her head — Knight became determined to not be victimized again.

Faced with a lack of compassion and understanding, as well as a shortage of acceptable products on the marketplace, Peggy founded Knight & Day Hair Products in 1982 and introduced the «vacuum-​type» hairpieces to the United States. Peggy then founded Peggy Knight International in 1989. This image center focused on helping women regain control over changes in their physical appearance due to the effects of chemotherapy treatments, cancer surgery, alopecia areata and thinning hair. It also served as the incubator for developing the 100% natural human hairpieces that now serve as the foundation of her latest endeavor.
