Specialties

We specialize in Japanese seed beads, Delicas and the newest shaped beads. There is also a large collection of Chinese crystals, rondelles and Swarovski bicones. There are always revolving trunk shows that specialize in items we don’t normally carry such as gemstones, agates, recycled products and the newest in chain maille products. We also have a large selection of the newest seed bead books and magazines

We teach all types of stitching classes during the week and on the weekend. We also have an extensive list of national artists that teach, have trunk shows and do book signings.

A couple of times a month there are classes that are free of instruction fees and generally have a small supply list. Check the calendar for Girls Night Out and Freebie Friday

A large group of beaders meet on Wednesdaysfor Beading in Circles to bead and hang out. We also meet every other Friday night. There is no cost to join us.

Our newest group get together is our Delica Support Group which meets the first Monday evening of the month. We work on anything and everything that has to do with Delicas.

History

Established in 2008.

We started in a very small space of 340 s.f. in Historic Savage Mill but expanded in May of 2012 to a 1400 s.f. space that has a very large teaching area which is now inside the store

I am a 44 year resident of Anne Arundel County and graduated from St Mary’s College of Maryland in 1985 with a BA in Fine Arts. After college I worked in the civil engineering field with a brief break to work for a local landscape architecture company. I have always loved color so after working for so many years in engineering I thought that the next step would be to fill my life with colorful beads and creative people
