Clipper’s Canine Café is a family owned and operated pet boutique, bakery and natural food store for pets located in the Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland. We carry a great selection of unique toys, spa products and apparel for your dog or cat. Clipper’s Canine Café has bakery cases filled with all natural gourmet dog treats including our custom made nautical treats. We also carry the finest all natural pet treats and foods including raw food diets.

History

Established in 2004.

Clipper’s Canine Café officially opened it’s doors in beautiful Solomons, Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay in June of 2005. In July of 2011, we moved the store to the Historic Savage Mill in Savage, Maryland. The word «Clipper’s» in our store’s name actually refers to our store’s namesake. Clipper is Kate’s yellow Labrador Retriever named after the clipper ships that sailed on the Chesapeake Bay. Clipper came from a raw foods breeder that raises all her pups on the raw food diet so he has never eaten kibble. He is an extremely happy and healthy dog and has been a great representative of the benefits of a raw food diet. You can often find him at the store doing «quality control» on all the treats and testing out new toys.
