A family owned and operated business with over 20 years of experience, we now offer FormulaOne Llumar ceramic films. These films block out 49% of the heat that comes through your windows and is still legal in MN — more than twice the level of protection afforded with other films.

History

Established in 1989.

Gjerde’s Solar Shield is a family owned and operated businesses window tinting service with other 20 years of experience and two locations. Our company started in 1989 and was officially incorporated in 1994.

Meet the Business Owner

Mark G.

Business Owner

Mark has owned and operated one of the top window film businesses in the state of Minnesota for over 20 years. He has approximately 26 years experience in installations and is certified as a credited installer. Mark has placed at lease top five in all window installation competitions. He has also participated in numerous conventions for the window film industry throughout the years. He is an AIA and Realitors Certified trainer for continued education and currently is the president of the MN Window Film Association.
