A Perfect Touch

We found this gem on Unilocal and called late Saturday night and left a message… they returned our call first thing sunday morning and were able to fit us in by 1145am for a much needed couples massage. Josh was my therapist and Millie was my husbands… the 90 minutes, flew by as I was lulled into a relaxing intermittent slumber by josh’s professional touch… he was careful to ask about the pressure and adjust per my needs… I would highly recommend them to anyone and will defenitely return on my next visit to savannah. Thank you so much!

I’m from Virginia and not knowing the area very well I booked a 90 minute couples massage based on the reviews on Unilocal.I don’t know if I went in with high expectations because of these reviews but I was pretty disappointed with the overall experience.
Pros:
It was cheap — $ 145 + tip for a 90 minute couples massage
Parking was easy
Cons:
Becca and Milly were our masseuses. My boyfriend had Becca and I had Milly — he said his massage was good and Milly was OK but I don’t think she has a whole lot of experience. We arrived about 15 minutes before our appointment, filled out our information forms, and then had to sit awkwardly waiting for our masseuses to finish their conversation on the day’s schedule. Now don’t get me wrong — I don’t mind waiting because I know we were early but I get massages bi-​weekly at home and I’ve never sat in on a private conversation. They could have at least taken us into a room and let us undress and wait in there. Anyways, we finally get taken into a back room and were told to undress and lay down, they’ll be back in a couple of minutes. Closer to 5 minutes later (past our appointment time at this point — I kept checking the clock) — they finally come back in and get started. #1 problem the beds weren’t heated (I saw the heating pads and the starter so I don’t understand why it wasn’t on), #2 her hands were freezing, #3 there was no gentle start — she basically came up and started pushing/​rocking me. Almost the entire session with Milly felt like she was rubbing lotion on me — I could do that at home. There were only a few moments when she went into my tension points and tried to work those out. But what was really aggravating was the fact that they would stop after every section and get a warm towel to wipe down. In the end, that wasted probably a good 5 minutes of the massage. At one point, I even opened my eyes to see why it was taking so long and I watched Milly have a water break. I was never asked if there were any points that I wanted to work on or anything she should have avoided. I have a medical condition and I put that on my information form but she didn’t ask me anything about it. Also, about half way through the massage someone turned on a fan in the room and I’m always cold but I was freezing by the end of the massage. I couldn’t wait to get dressed and get out of there.
Overall, I won’t be coming back — even with the 10% discount offered for writing a Unilocal review. It was cheap but still overpriced for basically having someone rub me with lotion for 90 minutes.

Very impressed! This was my first massage and it definitely won’t be my last. I was already half asleep and extremely relaxed before the massage even began. It was the most relaxing hour of my life! I will be coming back to visit the next time I’m in Savannah and will be referring anyone I know that will be visiting the area.

I first went to perfect touch a few months ago when I moved to Savannah, and I have never had to look anywhere else. Becca does not disappoint. I am now a regular client, and try to go see her once a month. I should also add that I’m very particular about where I go to get a massage because I want the most therapeutic experience possible– not someone that just rubs lotion on me lol. I prefer deep tissue and trigger point to target what ails, and Becca listens to exactly what I’m saying, & uses her extensive knowledge of anatomy to figure out where my problems are stemming from. Go see her, and you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I got the couples massage with Becca and Toni! Awesome experience! Both very friendly and very profesional. Definitely worth the money and would recommend to anyone.

Best massage I have ever had, and I am a massage snob. I’m 4 months pregnant and the owner, a charming woman named Toni, was a rock star, helped me out withy my horrible sciatic pain, and moved all the muscles around like a pro. My husband (a big guy who likes deep pressure) was thoroughly impressed with Amanda, who did a shiatsu on him. That’s with their feet for those of you who don’t know. It was $ 220 total for 2 90 minute massages, which is a pretty good price. We don’t love in Savannah, but we will be back when we visit!

Best massage ever! I had an appointment for a 1-​hour Swedish massage with Christine today, and it was exactly what I needed. If you have knots that need to get worked out, she is the one to see! In addition to the massage, she also uses passive stretching, which I had never experienced during a massage, but it felt great. I will definitely be back to see Christine, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.
As for the location, it’s small, but it’s quiet and relaxing, and there’s lots of (free!) parking available. I also like that they send out confirmation and reminder emails for the appointment.
