We waited almost ten minutes for a table when several were open, our waiter acted like he was doing us a favor by turning on the fryer at 11:30am, they are out of sugar for tea(in the South?), and then we were told we would need to go to an ATM because the CC machine was down. Have these people ever worked a restaurant before?

If you like waiting, inarticulate and confused waitstaff, and paying ridiculously high prices for sub-Waffle House quality food this is the place for you.

Hesitant to give this a full two stars however there was no wait and the food was decent. Our server had no idea what she was doing — the other servers were helping her out. Not sure what was going on, but our server was so spacey. She kept giving the wrong food to the wrong person. Food was overpriced. It was noticeable how frustrated the servers were with our server. It took 10 years to pay the bill. An extra waffle was brought out, which we didn’t order, but we were charged for it. Won’t eat here again.

Three is the lowest I go when reviewing a restaurant, I think a 1 or 2 star hurts peoples business and that is never my intention. This restaurant has huge potential but is grossly mismanaged! Walking down the historic savannah steps, I see this cute little place tucked behind an alley, so I decided to try it for breakfast… I should have checked Unilocal first but my phone was buried deeeep inside my ginormous purse. Long story short, other options nearby offer a better overall experience.

Don’t waste your time, money or calories. The food was terrible, the service was awful and the cost was high. The bathroom was scary too. I wish I could give less than one star.

Went here on a Friday morning, walked in about 10:30 and was seated right away. The ambiance was nice, the interior is shabby chic, and each table has a guest book on it, which I thought was a nice touch. I ordered a simple egg and hash brown breakfast which was served with a biscuit. I was saddened when it showed up though, because there was a LOT of eggshell in my eggs which really turned me off the meal. I ate the hash browns which were on par with Denny’s and the biscuit– a Pilsbury biscuit, the waitress told us. I was also disappointed by the service, there was only one other table in the restaurant, and once our food was on the table the server didn’t return to our table until after everyone had finished eating. We also had an order of the crab cake benedict, which was HORRIBLE. The hollandaise sauce was NOT what it was supposed to be, it looked like melted orange crayon, and didn’t taste right, and the crab cakes were pretty much an ounce of crab meat mixed in with a cup of some type of bread filler popped in a muffin tin and cooked until dry. it was NOT a crab cake. If I were to ever return here I would definitely go with something like a belgian waffle, or blue berry pancakes(cause how can you f**k that up??).

If your looking for good food, low prices and a fun atmosphere, then stay away from the Cobblestone Café. The only saving grace is that our server was nice and attentive. «Breakfast all day» however by 1130am they were out of several key breakfast items. Several menu items were no longer available but still left on the menu, with newer options simply handwritten on each menu. Overpriced, uncomfortable and the food was not good. Luckily it is also difficult to find.

In a hurry, but should have heeded the reviews. It was the worst service that I have ever received in a restaurant.

What a horrible experience! We were looking for a quick breakfast before we headed out. We should’ve just gone to Tybee Island to The Breakfast Club. The service at Cobblestone was super slow. It took 20+ minutes to get our breakfast. My toast wasn’t buttered, the food was bland. My husband’s 2 egg breakfast was $ 11! To top it off, after we were done eating(AFTER!), we were told that the card machine was broken, so my husband had to walk ¼ mile to an ATM. I would NEVER recommend anyone eat at this place. While it’s in a cool location and has a nice, quaint vibe, it was a total letdown. The best part was reading the entries in the guest books on each table.

Yes, this place is as bad as the reviews. Our server had his young daughter helping him. Nothing like sitting down to be greeted by a kid in a bathing suit. That was the best part of the meal. We noticed that we were charged for kids drinks. We showed the server where drinks came with kids meals. He then got the owner who argued with us over it and still tried to charge us. Let’s not forget that the food was not real good.

This is what happens when you read Unilocal reviews and ignore them. After reading the reviews I thought perhaps they were getting a bad rap by touristy cheapskates. In short, the food sucked, the service sucked and the prices were way out of line. I ordered what sounded to be a great breakfast, crab cake benedict. What I got was what I would expect from McDonalds if they had a crab cake version of a Egg McMuffin. But, the price was around $ 12 if I remember correctly. There are so many other good choices that I feel like a total fool for going here. That is what happens when you ignore Unilocal reviews.

This is a cool place for Breakfast!!! I had the Eggs Bennedict with Crab Cakes and it was out of this world good!!! It is a little dark in parts of the place and the floor leans a little by the booths — but the service was great and the food delicious!

I would have given it three stars if the prices were a little lower. This is a tourist town so you have to expect higher than average prices. $ 40 for our meal would have been about right. Instead it was $ 55. We ate here before we read the reviews. I was surprised at the low rating. We were two parents and a college student. We ordered the chicken wrap, crab cake Benedict an the frittata, one sweet tea and two lattes. We all agreed that the food was good. The lattes were better than average. It did not feel like a tourist place to us. Our server made the lattes, so a different server will affect the quality of the drinks. Our biggest complaint and one that will prevent us from dinning here again was price. $ 55(before tip) for the meals and drinks listed above. No alcohol.

By no means the worst I’ve ever had but not far off. They could do a much better job with breakfast for goodness sake. How hard is it after all?

I should have believed Unilocal.I should have believed Unilocal.Reviewers previously were on point for the most part. I find it very disturbing that it is not easy/quite difficult to find a breakfast spot that is actually good and reasonable in historic Savannah, GA. Cobblestone Café is not one of them. It says breakfast all day, I rather drink river water. Waiting service was terrible. Not attentive enough and had to nerve to overcharge that terrible benedict breakfast. It was ok but not filling enough and expected more. I almost didnt catch it until I got up and see what I was getting billed. Stay away from Cobblestone! Trash

I also don’t get all the hatred for this place. Sure, it’s not great, but its not that bad either. I walked in late on a recent Friday morning. There were no other customers when I first arrived, but the booths filled up quickly as it got closer to noon. There were three servers working by the time the place got busy. All of the servers were quick, attentive, and friendly. I saw no problems with service whatsoever. I had a Belgian waffle with a side of sausage. The waffle was good — not the best I’ve had, but still among the better I’ve had. The sausage, though, was obviously microwaved, as it had been cooked too long and hardened around the edges. The menu, complete with prices, is posted right outside the front door. Prices are also clearly listed in the menus at the tables. So I don’t understand the claims by previous reviewers that they were shocked by the total on the bill. The restroom is odd, yes, and not the cleanest. But I don’t eat my breakfast in the restroom and it’s quite far from the dining area so what does that matter? In any case, it was not even remotely close to the dirtiest restroom I’ve seen. If my sausage had been better, I might have considered giving this place 4 stars just to help cancel out some of the negativity. But I’ll have to go with a more neutral 3 due to the sausage.

When walking down to River Street we saw this cute little place on the corner. It looked like a hidden gem, cool sign and good feel(this was after hours anyways, so we noted this as a breakfast option) When we did go there for Breakfast on a Monday at 8:30 am there was no one in the restaurant(I mentioned to my finance that maybe the place was no good) The place also had a bit of a smell probably just musty(or at least that was what I told myself that to get through the experience) The eggs and homefries were ok, the bacon was microwaved and tasteless… and after almost easting all our toast we noticed the last piece was MOLDY. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but we are disappointed we did not find a great diner from what we were hoping after our pre-scouting.

If their Egg’s were any runnier, they would sprint. The«Menu» is located here: Second Breakfast in Savannah: Oh my god… how is this place in business? So we were walking around the only crowded area in winter in Savannah, the boardwalk. The location and waitress tries to draw in tourists. Massive… trap. Worst Breakfast I have ever had and I have eaten at Arby’s. Actually, this is an insult to Arby’s as they just use microwaved food from some god awful supermarket. Food: 0 I was with 2 other people. Food ordered: Crab Cake Benedict(Pop): .5 Crab Cake was dark brown for some reason. Their special hollandaise had the flavor of fat. See above for the eggs. Special: Texas Style French Toast: French toast with Powdered Sugar topped with Fruit and served with Bacon or Sausage: 0 My Mom doesn’t eat bacon so I had it. The bacon was the type bought in a grocery store. The«Fruit» on top was some canned fruit from a store. The French toast was ok which was surprising to say the least for this place. Probably the only ok dish here. Strike it, I saw a piece of butter that wasn’t fully melted floating on top of her plate, you f***ing kidding me? Corned Beef Hash. 2 eggs with Corned Beef and Toast(Me): 0. The Corned Beef: You mean lukewarm Hormel you plopped onto a plate? Eggs: See above Toast: Looked like a piece of charcoal and tasted similar. impossible to eat. Total so far: .5÷15 Drinks: 2 Coffee: Was refilled occasionally, I had a hazelnut cappuccino and it was actually good. Large portion and the price was actually fine. Who would have thought? Total so far: 2.5÷20 Price: 0 Ridiculous for a breakfast place. Ridiculous for the food you get. Total so far: 2.5÷25 Service: 2 The Woman was nice, but seriously, do you guys wait that long to prevent people from thinking your food is trash? Total so far: 4.5÷30 Look: 0 I have been to the dirtiest sections of China town. I have been to the dirtiest sections of Central New Jersey. I usually do not review restaurants for this. There was dirty toilet paper all over the floor. It made some of the Chinese restaurants in China town look like the Bellagio 4.5÷35 Final average: 1.28. Rounding down as the food is what is important. If I could give this place a 0 I would. I feel bad for the waitress working in this s***hole.
