The Olfactory Company was born in 2012 in Coconut Grove, Florida. One of the owners lived in Europe for over twenty years, and has brought fine European brands to Miami and now Savannah.

What a great find! Wide selection of teas, soaps, all kinds of unusual gift ideas. Not your normal inventory which is what makes it so fun! Great help and super friendly. We’ll definitely be back… and we live in Virginia!

Couldn’t agree less with the previous reviewers; just wanted to add a little something from my own experience. I did buy the soaps, and it ended up being one of the best purchases ever for me. For the past 10+ years my skin had always reacted to any kind of soap. Not with Olfactory’s ones — I almost don’t even need body lotion. 2 bars lasted me for almost a year and by now I forgot what life was before those amazing soaps from Savannah :-) Also they have a fantastic selection of spices, aforementioned soaps, scents, pretty little things, fine gifts and curiosities. Fret no more, shopping for that somebody who has everything. And don’t forget yourself!

A slice of France in Savannah.
This European-​inspired shop is stocked with every type of bar soap you could possibly desire. They also have a bunch of fragrances and teas. In the kids section, they have super cute mugs. I may or may not have purchased an earth mug that changes when you put hot water in it.
The owner is extremely helpful. He spent a long time assisting my mom as she teetered between several soap scents. Finally, indecision took control and she settled on a reasonably-​priced variety pack.

I love this place! It’s such a hideaway spot with special trinkets and gadgets from all over the world. I walked in on a whim, and was overwhelmed with all the special soaps, fragrances, candles, spices, and then, there was more. Broomsticks and antique flasks and shot glasses, spa equipment and much more!
As you can tell, I’m smitten. This is a gem in Savannah and everyone should stop in to find that special gift for the friend who has everything, or, just come in and buy something for yourself.
