The concept of Papillote is to make fresh, delicious food available to everyone and to be eaten anywhere. The shop is simple, as is the food — but everything is made from scratch on the premises. Our specials are posted and vary depending on what is in season, what people are asking for, and what Chef is in the mood to prepare. There are always additional items in the shop, whether sweet or savory. Whether you eat in or take out, we’ll serve you with a smile and most likely a sample or two.
Papillote also offers catering; able to provide great breakfasts, appetizers, lunches, pastries, and more.
History
Established in 2009.
Papillote was designed to give a French feel to Savannah Georgia by a traditionally trained French Chef. The menu was created to allow for customers to dine in or take their food to enjoy in the many parks of Historic Downtown Savannah. The owner is a young entrepreneur who decided to make Papillote a staple for locals and tourists in the area.
