I live and work in downtown Savannah. Met and married my lovely wife here. For that and a lot of other reasons, I love this place.

Savannah and I go back to the late 1970s. Before SCAD turned downtown around. Before Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil completely reshaped the way the whole world looks at the city.

Working as a freelance writer for the past 20-​plus years, I’ve made my living reporting facts and telling stories about all sorts of people, places, ideas and things.

These days, I also take people on walking tours of downtown Savannah, relating the facts and telling the stories to visitors from around the world about the many things that make this place unique.
