Specialties
Creature Comforts Veterinary Service provides a wide variety of care for small animal and exotic pets. We have an extensive surgical department. We can provide critical care for most species of animals. We also provide reproductive services for pets. Veterinarians are on the premises until midnight each night and certified technicians are on staff all night long for nursing care. Doctors are on call in the after hours. Our hospital has been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 1992.
History
Established in 1986.
Creature Comforts began as a house call practice in 1986. In 1991, it was moved to its present location. In 1993, the practice became a 24⁄7 care facility. In 2002, the annex building was purchased next to the practice and now houses the business and reception center.

Dr. Karin B.
Business Owner
Dr. Karin graduated from Pleasant Valley High School (1979) East Stroudsburg University (1982) and Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine (1986). She started the practice as a house call practice and gradually worked it into the emergency/critical care facility it is today. She is an active Rotarian and is currently the President of the West End Rotary Club. She was named Pennsylvania Veterinarian of the Year in 2009 and recieved the Young Alumni Achievement Award from East Stroudsburg University and was inducted into the Pleasant Valley Hall of Fame. Her major interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and canine reporduction.
