Checked it out again & there was a bunch of stuff on sale… Fabrics, patterns, threads, books oh my! They do a beautiful job making samples w/much prettier colors than the actual patterns. So much so that it inspired me & I actually purchased a pattern for a bag & fabrics. The girl who helped me is an absolute doll & a true asset to the shop. She not only helped me picked out the fabrics(so many batik options!) & helped me with the math on how much to cut for each fabric(since I wasn’t following the pattern’s suggestion of using a jelly roll — which I didn’t want to do because I didn’t want to be left with half a jelly roll). Also, they are out of a pattern I really wanted so they offered to order it for me & call when it arrived — super awesome! I can appreciate that they are a small store & probably can’t do the requirements Moda(& other big brands) has, so I’ll let that slide. I just really wish the owner was a bit more friendly — it’s like she doesn’t have the time or want to care you are even there. AND it’s not just me that notices, I’ve seen it happen to other patrons. Thankfully the other girl in the shop is there to make up for it. I’d like to take a class if theirs too.
