Best chicken salad sandwiches around! The menu may be small, but the quality of food more than makes up for it! The tortilla soup is excellent, and the potato salad is homemade (better than my mom’s, but don’t tell her!)
This is a great alternative to fast food if you’re trying to eat healthier. For the same price as a meal at McDonald’s, you get the same amount of food, but it is home made and much better for you!

As co-​owner of FORKD, I would like to respond to a couple of our reviews.
First, thank you for visiting our café. We are a small café with a minimal menu so that we can keep quality good and prices low. We are, by no means, trying to be a full-​fledged restaurant. Our regular customers seem to like it that way.
Second, we have a very small kitchen, no stovetop, oven, grill, or dishwasher. Therefore, we are not able to bake our own pastries, muffins etc, so we buy from Costco to at least have that option. I bake my cookies in a toaster oven. We wash our dishes by hand, therefore we are not able to offer other than disposable table settings.
Last, our regular customers keep us alive, and we try to make things convenient and affordable for all. Most of our customers come for a delicious, fast lunch, and we strive to make everyone feel welcome and enjoy their meal. We do cook our marinated chicken breasts whole, cut to order, and will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Thank you to everyone who has visited and continues to visit our family owned and operated café. We appreciate you!

I had high hopes, and will cross my fingers that this place might improve. A place named «Fork’d» invokes mental imagery of silverware, so you may be surprised to find yourself eating off of paper plates with plastic utensils. The disposables matched the food quality. The chicken teriyaki has tiny pieces of chicken with rice — no vegis at all. The omelet was made with American cheese. There were Costco muffins on the counter. This is a glorified coffee stand.

I like the ladies that ventured off from the previous restaurant and started this one, they are personable and helpful but it doesn’t make up for the «meh» food. So I’m going to give you ladies a few tips, because it wouldn’t take much to turn this place into a good solid restaurant.
First off, stop buying everything from Costco and pouring it out of a bottle. It doesn’t take much effort to make your own sauces and dressings and what a difference it would make! I’m originally from Hawaii and your bentos could easily be elevated to class «A» from a c minus with your own sauces.
Second off, grill your chicken breasts whole and then slice in long pieces, the small pieces make it seems like pressed chicken crap you get at McDonalds. Last, add chicken thighs to your menu and serve whole, they are very good and will elevate your dishes. Now go get em! You can do this!

This is a good alternative to Chain fast food. I might eat here again, just cause I would want to see if another dish is better. The beef bento was seasoned w something that tastes like Montréal seasoning which didn’t work w the other flavors. They have some good trade, it is good to see a little place like this have some good walk in biz.

I convinced my parents and Grandmother to stop in. I tried the spicy chicken bento with noodles and everyone else tried some other things. I also had a chai tea. It was all very good and will definitely be a lunch stop when I’m back in town!

Fortunately they are lucky their in a small town. This place wouldn’t have lasted two seconds in the city. My fiancé and I got the Bento (Spicy and Teriyaki) and needless to say, I told him the second he saw it sitting in warmers he should have walked away. It pretty much was old and bland tasting.
The price was great, but I can see why. :-/​
Still waiting for Scappoose to have something worth wild.

This place used to be café 30, and they had great coffee and the best chicken Terriaki! So needless to say I was heartbroken when I drove by one day and they were closed! When fork’d opened at that location I stopped by to check it put, and to my surprise it still had a lot of the same menu items :) I enjoyed my usual yakisoba bento with «the works» and it was de-​lish. Most of the staff is also the same as before, always very polite and quick. The biggest changes were that café 30 was bought out by a relative of the previous owner, and MAJOR upgrade in the appearance, it is very modern and pretty inside and out! They also offer some great gluten-​free options, which is very rare in scappoose. Over all, the only reason for 4 stars is the stupid hours. 8 – 2 only on weekdays? Really? Not only are they missing the morning coffee rush, people DO eat breakfast and lunch on the weekends!

Great place to eat in Scappoose. Nice staff, excellent comfort food, and the pastries are to die for. It’s a really cute little place too. They put some thought and energy into making it a homey and stylish little joint. Highly recommend.
