The good news if you like this place? My earlier prediction of «the end being near,» was wrong. They are still open. Unfortunately, the good news ends there. My kids begged me to stop at Amore as it was literally on the way home from our destination. I begrudgingly ordered 4 slices. A plain, 2 whites and a ziti slice. The men at the counter(different from last time so at least they changed some staff) were pissed. I have no idea why. I really dislike this place. Such a bad vibe. Everyone is mad even the delivery person has a scowl on his face? Got home and ate. Pizza was still terrible. The plain slice was average. The white slices were sitting around for a while and tasted old. The white ricotta cheese was a little yellow? The ziti slice was awful. I’m done. Never again. Terrible attitudes behind the counter, the pizza is terrible and the location is drab. You can eat at Italian Village, Happy Days, Mezzaluna, Scarsdale Avenue Pizza or head to Sals in Mamaroneck… all close and all have superior pizza to this place and without the attitude. Avoid.

The first time I ate here my sister brought back a regular slice for me. It wasn’t very impressive and a bit expensive. It didn’t taste like normal pizza and maybe because that was what I was expecting I was disappointed, since this place doesn’t make regular pizza. I ordered delivery recently and got French fries, curly fries and chicken tenders. Contrary to what I experienced before this time I was impressed! The delivery time said 45 – 60 minutes but I got my order in 30. The delivery guy was really nice when I gave lots of coins($ 2 worth) as tip which really made me happy because the last time I got delivery from Italian village down the block the delivery guy actually complained about the coins and how little my tip was. I told him I really didn’t have cash on me and he gave me a look of disgust and I swear he spat at me. It was revolting and so amore pizza’s delivery made me happy right from the start. They got the order perfect with my requests and it was packaged neatly. The curly fries, which I normally don’t like, tasted pretty good and crispy. The regular fries tasted normal but ended a bit more salt. But it was really the chicken tenders that sealed the deal. They were perfectly golden– not too deep fried but not soggy, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside so that when I ripped it into pieces you could see the white meat and not just burnt skin or dark unidentifiable chunks. I was really satisfied but I haven’t tried the pizza for a second time so maybe my opinion will change!

Will not be going back. Customer service is everything and this place is sorely lacking in that department. The guy behind the counter couldn’t even hand me my change, just threw it down, and didn’t have the decency to say your slice is ready.

Tried this place for the first time last night because our kitchen is under construction. Picked-up Chicago Italian Beef sandwich & some wings. I’ll definitely be back! The young lady that took my phone order was efficient & professional. My food was hot & ready in the timeframe she shared. I didn’t tour the place, but what I did see was clean and the guys looked like they knew what they were doing. The sandwich was delicious & huge. Big enough for two. The tastiest sandwich that I’ve had in recent memory. The wings were so-so. They needed to be cooked more, but a decent effort for a pizza place. I’m looking forward to trying their pie and I’ll definitely order that sandwich again&again. I’ll pass on their wings. Next time I crave wings, I’ll go to a wing place…

The food from Amore is okay. There are better pizza options in the area where they definitely appear to use fresher ingredients, and where they do not charge for delivery.

Nice environment and friendly service. Many different options on the menu but it isn’t the best pizza in the area.

We’ve gotten pizza here a few times. The first time my partner loved it, the second time he thought it was just ok. The crust is very dry and bland but the sauce and cheese is tasty. One time we got a pizza that had very little sauce. If we order again, I’ll ask for extra sauce.

I love this place. Good pizza, lovely interior(which is rare for a pizza joint) and the Scarsdale Salad is one of the best things I’ve ever had. It’s so delicious that there have been times I’ve ordered four to go, thrown them in a bowl at home, and served it at a party.

Penne rosa! Ahhhmazing! Also the pepperoni rolls are a little pricey but delicious. Salads are huge too!

This is my family’s standby; we go once a week, most weeks. The pizza is the best we’ve tried, and we’ve tried a lot of places in lower Westchester. Always fast too and great people behind the counter.

This is my «go to» pizza joint. I have loved this place for over 10 years! I recommend the chicken parmigiana pizza and their delicious home made salad dressing.

In our house Amore Pizza is known as «Pizza and Puppies». The kids like to go for a meal and then visit the pet shop next store. The food is very solid. Yes the layout is a bit wierd, and the parking isn’t great. But the service is fast and friendly, the pizza is solid and the rest of the menu is pretty good. Just make sure you do the pizza part before the puppies.

As being a Scaradale native, I can honestly say Amore has lost it’s way in the past several years. After the major renovations, the taste of the pizza diminished day by day. I will have to side with Italian Village on this one; which is down the street. Try there salad slice with a side of dressing. Never disappoints !

Average pizza, pretty greasy. Weird location. Didn’t understand the lay out… Do they want you to sit and be served or order in line. Confusing.

Food good, but most employees are not very friendly. Also, I purchased a to-go dessert which was covered in mold and fungus. I didn’t notice until I got home. Also, this is one of the more expensive places around for take out. I will absolutely not be returning here

I’ve given Amore 3 chances to impress me, thinking maybe i was there on an off night. Nope, bad all 3 times. I had to come to the conclusion that Amore is not very good. Everytime i’m there it looks like i am getting yesterdays left over slices. and i was there at all times of the day. You also kind of get kind of roped into waitress service, like this is a restaurant. It’s not! It is very annoying. The taste of the pizza(left over and all) does not taste good either. There not very friendly. Overall bad experiences everytime. Life is to short to eat bad pizza!!! Avoid.

I’m gonna have to disagree with Rick W. — Amore Pizza sucks. The tomato sauce and cheese are just not that tasty once you’ve had good pizza. I have had a few slices with toppings that are pretty good(chicken parm slice is good), but the plain is a real downer. If you’re in this area looking for pizza, I would recommend Italian Village in the Golden Horseshoe, which is just a minute or two away.
