We are dedicated to caring for children of all ages including infants, toddlers, adolescents, young adults and special needs patients.

Our pediatric dental specialists are uniquely qualified to protect your child’s oral health, using the most advanced techniques… and all in our delightfully friendly open treatment area. They’ve been trained to deal with the behavioral aspects of children, how to make them feel comfortable, and to make the experience pleasant. Also, they are trained and qualified to treat special patients.

Scarsdale Pediatric Dental has served the Westchesetr community for over 40 years and we are proud of the fact that many parents who bring their children to our practice, were once patients here themselves. We’ve developed a reputation for exceptional clinical excellence while at the same time providing a gentle and caring approach. Our goal is to provide your children with an understanding of the importance of ongoing dental care which will serve them well during their lifetime.

Our pediatric dental practice is geared to the special needs of infants, children, adolescents, and persons with handicaps.

Drs. Turk, Patchen, A. Lambert, Boudounis have received specialized education in pediatric dentistry and Dr. K. Lambert, in orthodontics, and our staff is well trained in children’s dentistry.

A pediatric dentist has special training in the oral health and dental development of infants, children, and teenagers. A pediatric or orthodontic degree requires an additional two years of study following the four year dental degree. The special training allows our pediatric dentists and orthodontist to provide the most up-​to date treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental problems.

Our dentists are also trained to treat special patients who may have emotional, physical or mental handicaps. We maintain state –of-​the-​art quality by attending numerous continuing education courses and continually investing in the most advanced equipment.

I cannot say enough about how much we love this practice. It has the professionalism and expertise that parents demand, along with the warm, caring, non-​threatening environment that kids need. I have two very hesitant daughters who have had negative dentistry experiences in the past, but never complain about SPDA. They appreciate that conversations are directed towards them and not happening as if they aren’t in the room. From very young they were active participants in their care. SPDA is the Disney of dentistry! With games, amazing fish tanks, and play spaces, kids forget why they are there.

This is a wonderful pediatric practice. My kids love the waiting room so much, they don’t want to leave when the appointment is over! One of my sons is a very anxious patient, and Dr. Ann Lambert is masterful at calming and reassuring him. The environment is clean and inviting, with the best tropical fish tank around. The hygienists and the office staff are efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

We have been going there last five years. For little children, I believe it is very important that kids are not scared and they don’t hate to go to a dentist. This office is perfect for it. In fact, my kids look forward to going there.
When they are older though the need might change and you may want to go to somewhere else, but for us this place is perfect. There is Orthodontist in the back and they work in tandem, which is a big plus as well.
I highly recommend it — the reason I gave 4 star instead of 5 is that every now and then, the wait is VERY long. You may have to wait when you are sitting on the chair, and also check-​out line can be very very long…

My three children have been patients of Dr. Lambert’s (both the dentist and the orthodontist) for the last 10 years. My youngest child has had to have several procedures done and this could have been very traumatic given the wrong dentist. Dr. Anne would sing to her, listen to her, give her laughing gas, numbing medicine (not a big needle) and let her watch videos. Quite a big departure from when I was growing up! I know many adults who are phobic of dentists because of there experiences as children, I am very fortunate that I will not need to worry about this for my children because of this practice. They are worth the money!

I have been taking my 18 year old daughter to this practice since she was two. Each and every person who works there, from receptionists to hygienists to dentists and orthodontist — are all first rate. It has ALWAYS been a very positive experience. There is no other office that has the combination of friendliness, expertise, and overall competence. When my daughter had to have extractions around the age of five, it was literally so painless and such fun, she couldn’t wait to go back. You are missing out if you don’t take your child/​children to this practice!

This is the best practice in Westchester. I’d give them six stars if I could. It is as exciting to go there as Disneyland for our kids. They absolutely love going there. Dr. B. and everyone there is so patient and cheery. They give the kids stickers and sunglasses and the flavors of cleaning paste is like an ice cream store’s selection. There are fish tanks everywhere. They have made it so the kids feel completely comfortable and look forward to going there. Completely different then when we were kids. But more importantly, the dentists and hygienists are extremely knowledgeable and are very patient and caring when explaining things to us and in making decisions. I could not recommend them higher.

Scarsdale Pediatric Dental has provided thorough, comprehensive, and quality care to my children for over 10 years. Without exception, every single employee has a smile on their face and makes you, and more importantly, your child, feel special. Timely, courteous, flexible, and professional. Even on a Sunday evening, in the middle of the summer, when my daughter sustained an injury, Dr. Turk met us in the office within an hour. The Orthodontic practice, in the office as well, is equally exceptional, and makes what could be a miserable experience, into a positive experience. When my kids «graduate» from Scarsdale Pediatric Dental, I plan on asking if I can transfer my care to their practice, as I cannot imagine going without that positive energy in my life.

I was recommended to this pediatric dental practice from a friend. Although the offices were nice and clean, It felt like a dental factory. I had my 12 year old there for the first time and the hygienist did the cleaning. It took 10 minutes, the doctor took a quick look and they charged me $ 199! I think it was ridiculously expensive for the quality of the exam. I will be taking my kids to a family dentist next time.
