The Color Salon

I visited the Color Salon based a recommendation from a friend. My hair is fairly damaged due to highlighting my medium brown hair w/​light blonde for the past 10 years and my hair is naturally curly. Recently, I’ve decided to go back to my natural color and also want to grown my hair long. It seems perpetually stuck at shoulder length — possibly I because of breakage from the blonde highlights. Anyway, I’ve been to several Salons in West Co with generally good results; however, the cost of highlights combined with an occasional keratin treatment is cost prohibitive. So, I was in the market for a better value but did not want to compromise the quality of service and perhaps find someone who could help me achieve a more beige/​cooler med brown vs. gold/​reddish brown when a friend suggested Color Salon.
Barbara, the owner, spent about 20 minutes with me at the beginning of the appt to review my options. I had brought some photos of what I’d like — beige/​caramel med brown. She suggested that I go darker and that I add some «warmer» tones back into my over-​processed ends. She also told me about a special on Keratin treatments they were offering ($ 200) which was almost 50% less than other salons I’d visiting in the area! Although I was nervous about a darker shade and warm tones (i like cool), reluctantly, I agreed to move forward.
Wow! The results were stunning. I barely recognized myself or my silky, glossy, rich brown mane! The color is so perfectly matched to my skin tone that my entire complexion has improved. I was afraid I would appear washed out or older but on the contrary, the color emphasized my olive undertones and blue eyes. I highly recommend this Salon. Even better that you won’t find a better value and definitely you wont have to sacrifice quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well.
