Alert Electronics

brand new Samsung tv went down… called Samsung customer service (absolutely horrible!!) but they said an authorized Samsung repair shop will call me back within 2 days… no one called me for a week and a half… I called Samsung again… they said that since the repair shop in my area was closed when I put in the ticket with Samsung, so they just cancelled the ticket (wtf??) so I had them open another ticket… finally a lady from alert electronics called me back 3 days afterwards and left me a vm… I called her back right the next day and had to leave a vm even tho it was normal business hours… no return call from her, so I called yet again 3 days later… she FINALLY called me back the fourth day… but said there was absolutely no info on a ticket from Samsung for me (even tho she called me… I had never even heard of her shop before…) but she was very rude with me and insisted that I called her… ?? so I called Samsung again to verify the ticket, then called alert electronics yet again the very next day… got an answering service that told me the whole shop was closed as she was on vacation for the next full week…
even if the repair is absolutely free on warranty– I refuse to use this shop!

Samsung sent them out to work on our 75″ TV under warranty. They came within two days of calling. The person scheduling was nice and thorough. They came as promised. Fixed the TV quickly, went over all our settings and corrected our improperly connected BOSE system. The TV looks amazing, works great and the surround sound finally works correctly. I would definitely call them again if we ever need service on our 3 Samsung TVs. They were great!

The Person (woman) who answers the phone is unfriendly.
I left two VM’s and they never called back. I had to call to confirm the appointment I made with Samsung and they had no record of it. and besides that, the computer was down so they couldn’t check.
Said a service call was $ 120.and didn’t apply to the repair… Yikes.
They gave me a bring the TV option in for repair. for $ 20 service fee that applies to repair… That was kind of them. and it earned them the one star for at least giving me an option.

I lost the Wi-​Fi capability on my Samsung Smart TV, contacted Samsung customer Service and they were unable to fix over the phone. So, they said that I would get a call from Alert Electronics within 48hrs. Alert Electronics did call within the 48hrs and we set up an appointment and they said that their tech would be there between 9 — noon. Their tech, Ming, showed up at 11am. Ming tested the TV, replaced the Wi-​Fi module and tested the TV again to be sure that it was working as it should. GREAT JOB and Customer Service! Thank you!

I have a samsung tv that has white freckles all over the front screen called Samsung part was under warranty they said within 48hrs Alert electronics would call and scheudle a appointment. They called Thursday and said they would be at my home between 9−12am they called at 10.30am was at my home at 11am and by noon my tv was like brand new neat clean worker named Ming I can’t say anything bas about this compnay if I needed service again I would contact them. Herb

BTW it was the capacitors. On this LG I was able to order the capacitors and the solder gun for 40 bucks at Amazon. My brother fixed it and replaced all the capacitors and I let him keep the TV. It is working good and I never heard back from this company and imagine they are still screwing people.
