History

Established in 1990.

The firm was started in 1990. When we began we built all of our own work. By 1997 we moved to the Model Shop at the Schweikher house, a national landmark property. While we only build occasionally today, we maintain strong relationships with contractors of many types.

Business Owner

I come from a construction family starting with my grandfather. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where I studied under several great architects including Tom Beeby, Stanley Tigerman, Ben Nicholson, and Peter Eisenman. I studied in Europe for one year where I was required to travel all around to see and study the buildings of Europe. I have an insatiable appetite for buildings and enjoy speaking to just about anyone that will talk to me about them.
