Specialties

At Midwest Training Center we foucus our training program on Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Wrestling combined with a professional srength and conditioning program.

The combinations of those arts has been proven to be the most successful in high level combat sports such as the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator. Our training system has produced many local and international champions.

Midwest Training Center provides an excellent atmosphere for all levels of skill and fitness, from beginners to professionals. All classes are taught by professional instructors in our state of the art training center.

History

Established in 2004.

Midwest Training Center started in 2004 in a small garage in Bartlett.

Now we are located in Schumburg in a 10,000 sqft. training center with 2 cages 2 rings and large grappling and striking area’s.

As a former full time Mixed Martial artist and fighter, and a current boxer, I can say that Midwest Training Center is an A– level facility with the best mma coaching staff in the midwest. Alex Trujillo is a specialist in all things MMA, and has produced several top tier fighters and many great athletes all around. They have great programs, and one of the best conditioning coach’s and systems in the country (Daniel Finnegan). If you are looking to develop yourself into a top notch fighter, just learn martial arts such as wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or Kickboxing, or just want to get into the best shape of your life, please do yourself a favor and go to M.T.C. rather than wasting your money on another MMA gym that is not nearly up to the same standards. Tell them the «Russian Concussion» sent you :)

Over the past few years I’ve had the opportunity to work with several trainers but none as personalized, intense, and successful in helping me reach my goals as MTC has. Dan is continually encouraging, following up with me after sessions, and tweaking my workouts as I progress. I’ve never worked with a trainer who is as enthusiastic about me reaching my goals as I am.

MTC is a awesome gym with great coaches. Always leave the gym in a full sweat and feel accomplished. Coaches always switching up workouts so you are never doing the same thing twice and will never be bored. I would recommend MTC to everybody no matter what type of shape you are in.
