My 2007 Macbook pro would not turn on. I thought I would have to sell it for parts, which I really did not want to do. I went to Apple and that was a waste of time, they diagnosed the problem and were trying to charge me the cost of a new laptop. I said no way will I pay that! The tech there then says to me «just purchase a new laptop.» I left with my laptop confused and angry. I went home and started looking for shops that would at least give me the time to tell me if it was worth trying to fix. Just wanted someone to be honest with me. I found P&P here on Unilocal and decided to visit them that same day. Not only did they say yes we can fix it, they did it quickly and at a fair price. I feel like I have a new computer. I am so happy that I didn’t sell it for parts. I will continue using them for all of my technical needs. I highly recommend them. THANK YOU GUYS :)

Great place. Pavel spends the time with you to get it fixed. very short turn around time… and at a good price… I’ve been going to him for about 5 years now… so if you want it fixed right, and at a very reasonable price, don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I have used this business two times now and I feel I got fair and honest service from them. The first visit was simple, just getting some photos off an old non working computer tower. Second visit was last week. My daughters laptop was running very slow. When I brought it in to P & P, they looked it over and suggested possibly replacing the hard drive. They gave me an estimate of $ 130. Several hours later they called and told me that the hard drive was fine, they ran some test and made some small changes and the laptop is running fine now. Only $ 30 charge. They could have just replaced the hard drive anyway and charged me the full price. I will be returning if needed in the future. Honest business.

Listen, I’m a fan just because it was like only 1 of 2 places I could find somewhat close that would fix my PS3 without my having to send it in to Sony and spend an arm and a leg. My experience with «the other» similar store was horrible, which led me to this one.
I went in and dropped my PS3 off on a rainy day. Ran into the «store». It’s very small, they have used odds and ends in the front for purchase. You can certainly smell that they still smoke in the back, but whatever. I just want my PS3 working.
They seemed knowledgeable enough. The younger-​guy said it would only be like 4 hours to get it fixed and that he’d call me. So sure enough, either same day or next day they called back to let me know it was ready and I went to get it. Super cheap for my «yellow light of death». Still is working. The only scary part is that they only guarantee their work for like 30 or 60 days — can’t remember which. That made me a bit nervous, because it seems like maybe they have units come back a lot??? Why wouldn’t they guarantee it longer. Hmm. Regardless, mine is still working. And it’s been like a 45 – 60 days.
updated 11÷24÷12 — So. I have to update my rating and review. Unfortunately my PS3 died again 2 weeks ago. So apparently this is the reason why they only have a «30-​day guarantee». Right. Got it now. Will not be paying to service it again. Unfortunately will have to bite the bullet and buy a new one. :(So, I have to change my rating.

Pavel spent 45 minutes with us taking apart and trouble shooting our PS3. He tried many different things and when it was determined that our console was unrepairable he never charged us for a minute of his valuable time.
He told us — with no pressure — his prices on new and used/​refurbished consoles and thanked us as we went on our way.
Of course when we decide to buy a new PS3 we will go back to P&P!
