Reliable Photo

Found them on the Web while searching for a place to get passport photos. 2 for $ 8.99, I think. For passport photos that is pricey. Three of us got them done and two of the three liked their photos. Mine sucks! Little work was done on boosting the photo to look cleaner and clearer. The place looked deserted, few display cases with select frames and scrap booking books for sale.
This was my experience a few months back. Today I stopped by to get a few more photos done and realized they are now CLOSED. Empty store and no signage to indicate if they’ve moved, etc.

High quality paper and processing create really great printed photos. But more importantly, Reliable does video conversion on-​site, meaning your 1970s childhood videos will NOT be lost between a store and a processor when converting from 8-​track, VHS etc to CD-​ROM! I will definitely pay high prices for this assurance
(as CVS (at the time, Osco) lost the negatives of our 2^nd child’s birth – thank god we were seeking reprints! What would have happened if they had been first run???). And Reliable was much less expensive for video conversion than Wolf, which sends its jobs out to another city.
I definitely recommend Reliable for photos and video conversion. They are professional, timely and stick to their quotes.

My experience with Reliable Photo was extremely poor.
I spoke with a representative of Reliable Photo the week of September 15, 2008, to book a photographer for 2 hours for my daughter’s baptism. While on the phone, the representative in question put me on hold to check his schedule. After verifying that he was free on the date I needed, he verbally told me that I was booked for 2 hours at a rate of $ 155 per hour, the rate he had charged a friend of mine. He said he would send a contract to me via email. The next day, I had not received the email. I called Reliable Photo and was told that the representative I spoke to was not available and couldn’t be reached. I left my phone number but was never contacted again by that representative. I called again at least 5 times over the next three weeks and was told repeatedly that there was no one available to help me. On 10/​6, I was finally able to reach the manager. He told me that the representative I had spoken to was booked by someone else and wouldn’t be available for my date. He said he would call me back regarding alternate arrangements. I did not receive a call that day, so I called back near the end of the day and was told the manager was not available. He did call back on 10/​7, but only to tell me that while he had photographers available for my date, he would have to charge me $ 1300 for 3 hours to guarantee booking. This fee included a videographer, which I did not need. I told the manager I would be willing to go with another photographer of his as long as the rate I had been promised could be honored, but he told me that the company would be unwilling to eat the cost of what I consider to be their mistake. Instead of being apologetic, the manager was very aggressive and rude. I can understand making a mistake, but I feel I should have been contacted right away so that I would have time to find another photographer. Instead, I was led to think for almost a month that I had a photographer secured. As for the manager, given that I wasn’t made aware of the situation in a timely manner, I think he should have at least honored the agreed upon rate, since he did have photographers available. After the incident, I began to look for another photography company to use, as I didn’t want to worry on the day of the baptism about the reliability of Reliable Photo. I just hope my experience will save other consumers from being subjected to such unprofessional behavior.

My friend got her wedding pictures done from here. They were pretty expensive, but the picture quality was amazing! They showed up to her wedding reception and took lots of photographs. They were very professional and timely. Her portraits and photographs are both really amazing. I would really recommend this place for pictures that you will keep and remember forever!

Your photos will be processed well and returned on high quality paper. However, this is not the place to come if you care about the price — it is certainly the highest I’ve seen anywhere. They do have one hour processing.
