In 2007, after sensing the real estate bubble was about to burst,(and boy did it…) I threw myself into researching the sunless tanning industry. I knew there had to be a better way of overcoming my midwest paleness then standing in the midst of a spray tan carwash, constantly broiling myself in a tanning bed, or laying out in the sun for hours on end! A girl needs her vitamin D and all, but she doesn’t need to look like an elephants ass by the time she’s 35! lol Thinking back now, I can’t believe I would actually drive to them, pay $ 48 hard earned bucks only to emerge looking like Snooki’s older sister! I knew I couldn’t possibly live the rest of my life with my real skin color, so I HAD to find a better way to the perfect glow!

After doing literally hundreds and hundreds of tans, becoming nationally certified and trying countless solutions, The Glow Fairy was finally born!

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? Melissa’s the best. She immediately put me at ease, and made my first experience SO easy. She gave me great after-​care tips, and even put up with me when I had a post-​tan freakout (I’m very very pale, so being tan was very foreign to me). The end result– despite my moment of panic– was gorgeous. Fair warning– you may look a little darker immediately afterwards, but there’s an instant bronzer in the spray that’s the culprit. Once you shower, the tan is totally natural and soft.
I’ve recommended Melissa to everybody I know. She was affordable, fun, and produced great results.

VERY disappointed!!! Never showed up, I would have gone somewhere else. I was going out of town for a wedding. Never have had her out before, but saw the reviews online. l Figured I could have her come out before I left town, and was able to make the appointment about a week prior. Thought if I got the spray done close to when I was leaving it could set, and still last long enough on my trip. We texted back, and forth, came up with date, and time. she was supposed to come out at 8pm. I worked that day, and rushed home showered got all ready for her and, no call, didn’t answer texts, or voice mails. I consider that VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I just didn’t want anyone else to to go through what I did. Most events that you want to look tan at are important ones. Don’t take a chance on someone who won’t show up, or even have the courtesy to call. Good luck on your search.

Such a great experience! I’m going on a cruise and recently had a bad spray tan done. She fixed me up really well and made the perfect tan for my very pale skin. She also talked about the spray being more naturals then others, and that it has an SPF of 15 which is always good to have! Nice price too!

This was my first time getting a spray tan ever and im beyond pale but needed color for my friends California wedding! Ive only heard of bad things from tanning salons and I couldn’t take a risk. I found Melissa and she worked me in perfectly with her and my schedule. She was super quick and made the whole process very comfortable and professional. My tan on this porcelain skin looks Ah-​mazing! !! I will definitely be using her again. Can’t wait to post pics once the tan fully sets!

As someone who is paler then pale and stays out of the sun, I was a bit scared to get a spray tan. Melissa did a fabulous job on me and made me feel completely comfortable! The tan didn’t look unnatural or fake at all, just the perfect glow for a summer vacay! Best part is the reasonable price and that she comes to you! I would highly recommend the glow fairy to any friend or family member.
