Allura Solar, Inc., is a full service solar design and installation company. We specialize in solar thermal, solar heating and solar PV systems. We are both NYSERDA and NABCEP certified. Our goal is to help you determine what is the most appropriate type of solar for your needs and which one offers the best return on your investment. We are locally owned and operated. Most solar companies in the Capital Region are owned by large, impersonal, out of the area corporations. With Allura Solar you will be getting experience, quality and personalized customer service, only a local company can offer. In addition to a licensed electrician and solar thermal specialists, we have a licensed Structural Engineer (PE) on staff. Most solar companies do not perform a structural analysis on your roof, since it is not required by law. Let us tell you why a structural review is extremely important. Allura Solar’s offices are powered 100% by solar. We not only talk the talk but walk the walk.

History

Established in 2005.

Allura Solar started out as a water treatment business back in 2005. The natural progression for the company was to expand into solar hot water systems since the experience of moving water through a home was already there. Our customers then started asking us if we could install solar PV systems for them. Since one of Allura Solar’s partners is a licensed Master Electrician we had the skill set and ability so progressed even further into a full service solar company.

Business Owner

Michael Cellini is the Managing Director and founding-​partner of Allura Solar. He has been a community leader in Sustainable Practices like energy conservation, renewable energy, consumption choices and self-​sufficiency for over 10 years. In addition to running a solar business, Michael gives back to the community by teaching renewable energy classes at several local colleges. He and his family live in a passive and active solar home that is 100% fossil fuel free. He has been interviewed for multiple publications and has been on TV for his role as a sustainable practices community advocate and solar expert.
