Schenectady Regional Orthopedic Associates

I wasn’t very impressed by Schenectady Orthopedic. Honestly it was a pretty annoying experience.
There are several doctors who work out of this office and it is, admittedly, quite busy. But just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you can’t at least put forth the effort to make it look like your patients are actually people. From the receptionists to the secretaries to the doctor, nobody seemed to really care much about anything.
I needed a written copy of the doctor’s observations and opinions, which is a fairly common request for a doctor. With these guys, it was apparently a huge production. The doctor’s secretary was the one who had to type it up, and she was just about impossible to contact. None of the other secretaries or staff were willing to deal with it or try to get things rolling, and in the end it ended up taking several months to get this letter which turned out to not even be what I needed from them.
I obviously can’t say this is how they always are because this debacle was my one and only experience with them, but based on this whole disaster I would not be willing to return in the future.
