History

Established in 1995.

Over 20 years ago, Katie had the idea and desire to provide the veterinary community with the finest and most custom message on hold programs available. The firm, known as On Hold Advertising, was headquartered at our dining room table, with Katie at the helm. Meetings moved from our dining room table to our board room. Thousands of clients later, we realized that the name just didn’t fit anymore.

In 2006, we underwent a complete brand overhaul on ourselves and settled into the comfortable space that is now InTouch Practice Communications. Today, surrounded by the most incredible and creative staff, we still own the firm and continue to grow the finest digital communication products.

Since everything we do is custom, we are proud to serve our small business and Fortune 500 clients with that same dedication. We specialize in providing fully custom telephone message on hold, fully custom websites, social media marketing, search engine optimization, and online reputation management.

More than 20 years ago, Katie Schroeder had an idea. She wanted to provide the veterinary community with the finest custom telephone on-​hold message programs available. It didn’t take long for On Hold Advertising, headquartered at the Schroeder’s dining room table, to take off. Soon, Bill sold the firm he was running to join Katie and On Hold Advertising, and the two have never looked back. (Yes, they’re married. Yes, they work together. No, they absolutely never get sick of each other.)

Thousands of clients and a complete suite of marketing products for veterinarians later, Bill and Katie realized the name no longer fit the company and in 2006 InTouch Practice Communications was born.

InTouch is still owned and operated by Bill and Katie Schroeder, and they now have a team of talented marketing and creative professionals to help their clients reach pet owners in their communities and realize their growth goals.
