History

Established in 2006.

I was running a clinic for a doctor in Hammond who was very good to me. However, I wanted to get all the latest technology and to spend more time and do everything possible for each patient. His business model would not allow for that. I asked God to Open or clolse a door so that I would know if he wanted me to start my own business. Shortley afterwards the doctor decided to close that office and relocate me to Indianpolis. I took that as my sign and opened the Spine Institute a few months later. I now can take all the time with patients I want, have all the latest equipment, and have the joy of taking on some of the most chronic and severe cases and giving those people their lives back.

Business Owner

Graduated from Eureka College with honors in 1995 with Bachelors in Science. Attended Bradley University for two years to get prerequesites for Doctorate program while working as police officer at night. Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005. However the majority of the education which has shaped the way I practice has been in post graduate studies. His passion is getting people out of pain and increasing his patients quality of life.

Dr Stewart is an Amazing chiropractor of the 21st Century and unlike no other. His techniques are far from the old method of snap, pop and crack of the 19th century. His method of pain neutralization is very effective in not only relieving pain; but, also making sure to improve and promote a healthy and productive life style for his patient.
Recently, I was suffering in agonizing pain, after, my left hip locked up. I went to my old Chiro of the 19th century and after 6 consecutive days of no relief; and many years of the same old methods that lead you back to nowhere. I decided to make a major lifestyle change from the only 19th century Chiropractors, I grew to know. Dr Stewart successfully unlocked my hip on the 2nd day and have since been pain free!
Amazingly, I found Dr Stewart and highly recommend him. Also, his advanced level of expertise, his soft to healing touch and his charasmatic and personable ways has made my life a whole lot happier, being at my lowest pain levels in many years. Thank You Dr Stewart!!!

Dr Stewart is Awesome! I can not even believe how much he has helped my back neck and hip. His process is different than I have ever seen before. I don’t know how it works, but it works amazingly well. Everything is new cutting edge therapies.

Dr. Stewart is great. I was having minor neck issues, but thought I’d check out having chiro work done as preventative. I cannot directly compare to other chiropractors, but his methodological approach is fairly different than my expectations. First, popping of joints is only utilized when the need to direct and specific. In my case, it was never needed. Second, he uses some Eastern techniques to complement more Western techniques. Third, he uses (non-​painful, non-​invasive) lasers to address issues. His approach seems very light to the touch, and you sort of wonder whether it is actually doing anything because it’s so light. But even with my skepticism, I felt the results during the sessions, and especially on follow-​up visits. I had a total of four visits and do not expect to visit again, as the issues have resolved. He actually «fixed» me, and I don’t need to go back… which is how I hope medicine should be.

Dr. Stewart is great! I initially went there as a tag along with a friend of mine in 2011. I thought some of the methods were interesting and different, but once I saw how quickly they worked and how effective they were, I was sold on the methods and the doctor.
The Results:
After a car accident, I decided to give him a try. I was in pain, had limited motion in my neck, and was having frequent headaches. After just ONE treatment, I had less pain, significantly more range of motion and fewer occurrences of headaches. He had me completely back to normal, if not better than normal, in two to three visits; I really like this about him. He will fix it quickly and painlessly much quicker and less expensively than a standard chiropractor. I’ve been to others who said I needed months of treatment and I didn’t see results for weeks and weeks. That won’t happen with Dr. Stewart. I have recommended many there, and they all have had similar success stories.
Pricing:
Very affordable. You get more than you pay for. Even if insurance doesn’t cover it, it’s worth the out of pocket expense.
The Doctor:
He is VERY current and up-​to-​date with his methods, practice and research. He stays abreast of industry trends and newer, more successful methods. He is passionate about what he does, and the love for his job shows.
The Methods:
They are unique to be sure, but they are EXTREMELY effective. He uses a variety of methods; he’s not the standard, «Let me jerk your neck, back and hips to crack your bones» kind of doctor.
I went back as recently as yesterday, and I will keep going to him as long as I have an issue. He is a miracle worker as far as I’m concerned. He’s the best you will find in this area. I even drive from Chicago to go to him. Two hours or more round trip, but worth every second of it. Give him a shot. You will be pleasantly surprised.
