BE VERY CAREFUL! I was moving to Texas last year and commissioned Art to build a custom Audi S4, to be done upon my arrival. Months went by and he said everything was on schedule, the day before scheduled pickup he reported a module problem which culminated into 2 months of excuses. The stories he told me were insane and he even used his kid’s health as ways to cut him some slack. I lost contact with Art on the day we had rescheduled delivery and was contacted by his brother, Dave. Art had apparently been in the hospital and was not doing well. Dave said he was taking over the project and he would need some time to finish it.
Upon arrival I noticed a lot of work hadn’t been done but Dave and Mike Rhodes (Shop Owner) assured me everything would be taken care of and we came to an agreement. For the next 3 months I had the car for 6 days as it was one problem after another and none of the custom work was ever completed. Mike and Dave then told me Art was not in the hospital but sitting in a Houston jail cell for fraud, and he had stolen a bunch of money from the shop.
Mike and Dave told me one story after another over those 3 months, many times contradicting each other.
Luckily I kept all of my communication with all three of them and tried to text as much as possible to record everything. I used my AMEX card for the deposit and I was able to provide them with all the information so they could go after these scam artists. Thankfully I was able to recoup $ 7,000 so at the end of the day I ended up paying about what the car was actually worth. I had my lawyer look into these guys and there are multiple fraud records so I would really avoid these guys at all costs!

These guys are a bunch of thieves. I signed a purchase agreement with them for a 2001 A4 over a year ago. No car, no calls, court is next…

Be careful with these guys website has expired. view their old page these brothers care nothing about you or your safety, only your money and how much you can get. Will post more on them but I keep hitting the limit bec there is so much about these guys that needs to be known.
