History
Established in 2003.
We purchased the original locations in 2003– at which time we changed the look, feel and focus. Deciding to strive for fresh, healthy, made to order wraps, paninis, salads and homemade soups. We chose a quality coffee roaster and focus on making the best specialty coffee drinks through educating and training our employees. We are dedicated to carrying wines that represent for price point, region and style– personally tasting nearly all of the wine before selling them at «the shop.» We now feature nearly 600 wines from around the world, and seek out hard to find or special request wines for customers. With a growing wine club, regular wine tastings, special events with visiting wine makers and wine classes, wine is a focal point. In 2011 we changed our name (from Café le Grand) to Vino Latte to emphasize our passion for both! In 2014 we opened our second location in Weston!
Meet the Business Owner
Loreen G.
Business Owner
Loreen desired something to make her own– so in 2003 she and her husband, Ron, purchased the corner coffee shop. She changed everything but the name. As a personal trainer and group fitness instructor Loreen sought healthy options when dining out — so developing the menu was easy! Her attention to detail and desire to improve shows in everything. The wine came next– with a passion to learn (& taste), they have become immersed in the wine world! They have traveled throughout U.S. wine country and attend as many tastings within the trade as possible. Ron has earned the Intermediate and Advanced certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and the Certified Specialst of Wine certification from the Society of Wine Educators. Being a local business is important, and Loreen has always supported the local charities– big and small and participated in many fund raising events through sponsorship. Loreen also strives to purchase available ingredients locally when possible.
